I've decided to take a break from music for a few months, Reason being is that I like to give my full 100% when doing something, and if I can't give the full 100 I don't see the point in doing it, so rather than putting 25% into my music I'd rather put in nothing for now. I haven't stopped making music for good, because it's my first love. I just need some time to focus on more important things, I gotta start thinking about my career outside of music and that, so for now I'm putting my full hundred into sorting out work, Tryna move up the career ladder n that. My album is still coming out, It will be out around Dec/Jan now though, as I want to come back with a fresh approach to music for when I finish it off. You'll still be seeing some output from me before then though, I've got a nice back catalogue of music made, The next release from me will be the In Da Hood mixtape, which I and the others will be putting out in August. I dunno when I'll come off the break, Most probably around December times.

Basically I've started working full time recently so I don't have that much spare time to do music, Working 9 hours a day is a killer!

Anyway, I've got a week off from Sunday the 10th to Monday the 18th

During this week I'm looking to get a whole load of music stuff out of the way, For the week I'm gonna go back to being a full time producer, I already have alot of meetings/photoshoots planned, but I'm also looking to use the time to finish off my album and collab with a whole load of new artists. So this is where you come into play. I do music for the people that enjoy listening to the music I make, not for money or fame, so satisfying you lot is what's most important so.....

First question, What instrumentals that I've made do YOU want to see on the album? It's already got most of the instrumentals I've previously released on vinyl for all of you CDJ's and people that don't own decks that would like to listen to my tunes, also for the people who are new to my music.. But I've also left some of the insts off my EP's off the CD and I'm just wondering if any of the ones I've left off are the ones you want to see on the CD (1999 is one of those...). So let me know what you wanna see on the album, Bare in mind it's an instrumental album/mixtape. So name any instrumental that I've made that you'd like to see on the CD, Keep On Moving is definitely on there so don't worry, I know alot of you lot want that.

Second question, which artists would you like to see me work with? List any names of artists, Singers/MC's/Producers etc. If you wanna list your own name feel free. The list I've made up off the top of my head so far is;

Cookie, Maverick, Chipmunk, Ice Kid, No Lay, Black Da Ripper, Shalo Dat Kid, Griminal, Loick Essien, Tension, Purple And Wretch, as I haven't done any solo work with any of these yet. and they're the people I'm feeling at the moment. Let me know if there's anyone you'd like to see me work with...

If any of you lot know me you'd know I'm a big fan of British Cinema and English films. I've just come across another one that's out on the 27th of April called "This Is England"

It looks quite good, it's set in the 80's and is about skinheads, to keep it simple. One of my favourite British actors is in it, Frank Harper (Lock Stock, Football Factory etc)

Hi All,

Basically, I've realised there's ALOT of talent in the Grime Scene, especially within the producer section, not just the established producers, there's alot of young producers in the scene that are very talented. What pisses me off though is that not everyone gets the chance to be heard, I'll admit that I've had it somewhat easy since I've been in the scene. It hasn't exactly been hard for me to release vinyls or work with who I want to, I'll also admit that there's other young producers out there that are better than me but haven't yet had the chance to be heard properly. So basically last night I was up at about 5am in the morning just thinking about Grime in general and also a label name, as you know I have my own label which I released my fourth EP on (Mr.Slash Recordings) this was just a quick name to bang out an EP on, but I've finally come up with my real label name, and it's quite self explanitory to be honest. I've seen the Bigger Picture and  I know what I want to do with music. At first I was just going to release my Instrumental album on the Label as BPMCD001, but a topic on RWD Forum about another producer and people thinking he was better than me made me realise that alot of producers who I rate, regardless of if they're better than me or not haven't had a chance to shine, so I came up with the idea that this label will not only just be for my releases it will be to bring through the real talent that isn't being given the chance. So I've decided to put out a collection of EP's titled "Up N Coming Allstars Volumes 1-5 (That's all I've planned for now)" which will all basically be 6 Track Instrumental EP's, featuring ONE track from Each producer that I've chosen to be on each volume. This way alot more producers will be getting heard, and the quality of releases will hopefully go up, because if each producer puts one of their best beats on the vinyl, that will be 6 massive tunes on 1 vinyl. and 5 vinyls of that = 30 massive instrumentals in the market. Which will hopefully have an effect on what some would call a dying market. I'll be involved in the vinyls aswel, I'll defnitely have a tune on the first volume, however if I'm finding too much talent I'll only be on the first one, which once again means more talent can be heard, I'm also going to try and give everyone a chance rather than have each volume featuring the same people, as everyone needs their chance, and it may only take 1 appearance on a volume for another label to ask you to do a solo ep for them. Basically for most of you lot I'm looking to make this a stepping stone for your career, like opening the door for you. If things go well I'll start doing solo EP's for producers aswel and trying to push them properly and see what the bigger picture is for them. I know you're all probably thinking hold on, I won't make much money from this, but to be honest with you, money isn't the reason I'm doing this, I'll only be taking back what I put into it and a little bit extra, all the rest will be equally split between each producer on the EP. It won't be alot but like I said, these projects aren't about money, it's about getting you heard and out there. Aswel as doing vinyls I'm also looking to work on an instrumental album and then a vocal album featuring all the producers involved. This is a long term project so don't expect everything to happen in 2 months.

Anyways, now you know what it's about. Time to involve yourself.

If you're an Up N Comin producer who's between 12-23 who hasn't previously released or has but want's to be involved please get in contact with me. I promise you that I'll listen to everyones music and get back to you and let you know what I think.

What I require from you is a showreel or showcase (or just a link to your myspace player if you have 4 or more instrumentals up) to listen to. I already have some people that I've spoke to about being involved in Volume 1,  I'm still looking for about 3 more producers for that. But I'm looking for as many of you that have talent for all the other projects. So if you don't make volume 1 there will be a chance for you to get heard via other volumes and the CD.
