DIMENSON ZERO features IN FLAMES mastermind Jesper Stromblad on guitar, SOILWORK guitar player Daniel Antonsson and ex MARDUK singer ( / drummer) Jocke Gothberg and LUCEFERION / CRYSTAL AGE drummer Hans Nilsson. The brand new album 'He Who Shall Not Bleed' contains 11 tracks of aggressive, fast and melodic Gothenburg metal. Less thrashier then their previous albums and more melodic and sounding like the old IN FLAMES. Recorded at the IN FLAMES Studios (former Studio Fredman) in Gothenburg, Sweden. Guest guitar leads by ANNIHILATOR's Jeff Waters.

Hey everyone -

I have just added three of the live videos from the Close-Up Båten festival in February 2007 to the profile.  DZ posted these on YouTube a few weeks ago, so thought I'd add them here, too.  I also added the video for IMMACULATE. 

Other news - the band has also confirmed for this year's Wacken festival in Germany.  I have posted it as August 4th because myspace will only allow me to choose one date.  This does NOT mean this is the date they will play!  I just wanted to post it on here so people know about it.  Once the actual day they are playing (since the fest runs three days) gets known, I will post it here with the correct date.

For all you METALHEADS out there, there is a new METAL version of myspace out there!  It's called Heavy Metal Militia.  It's only been up for about 6 weeks or so.  I wanted to wait to make the announcement since they were having to upgrade their server to handle the influx of metalheads.  LOL  How awesome is that? 

Anyway, it really, really is a cool site.  They have a lot of fun things like rating pics, battle pics (which is where they put two pics next to each other and you say who wins), a forum on the front page that's easily accessible, the last 5 blogs anyone has posted that's on the site (which you can also see on the front page), and BUNCHES of other stuff.  It's reallllllllllllllllly easy to navigate and even has a profile maker built in – that actually tells you what colors you are trying to pick for which section!  Very self-explanatory.

DIMENSION ZERO has begun recording its third album, tentatively due in early 2007. We spent the last week doing the guitar work," Strömblad writes on the group's web site. "Leads, melodies and rythm are done, and it sounds killer already! Here is some of the titles for you: 'The Was', 'Is', 'Deny', 'I Can Hear The Dark', 'Red Dead Heat', 'He Who Shall Not Bleed'.

"And to stop all the speculations once and for all, I have NOT quit IN FLAMES. Unfortunally I had to sit out the rest of the year with the band, but whatever problems there was, they are solved, and both me and Björn [Gelotte] will be back after next year."

DIMENSION ZERO's sophomore full-length album, "This is Hell", was released in October 2003 through Regain Records. The CD — the band's first to feature Antonsson — was recorded at Phlat Planet studios in Gothenburg, Sweden with producer/IN FLAMES frontman Anders Fridén.

DIMENSION ZERO has been confirmed for the Close-Up Båten festival/day-long cruise, set to take off from Stockholm, Sweden on February 15, 2007. Also scheduled to appear are TIAMAT, DARK TRANQUILLITY, PAIN, HARDCORE SUPERSTAR and NECROPHOBIC.

Strömblad is sitting out IN FLAMES' current European tour with SLAYER, LAMB OF GOD and CHILDREN OF BODOM due to "personal issues." Filling in for Jesper is longtime friend Niklas Engelin, who previously toured with IN FLAMES in 1997-1998.
