As most of you know I'm also a photographer.  I just recently relaunched my photography website and would appreciate some feedback on it so if you've got a spare bit of time please go and have a look and let me know what you think:

Also, please click the ads that you see on the page as well because I need the money. :)

thanks

ok, I've uploaded a rough version of one of the songs we've been working on.  it was recorded quickly on my pc in my spare room and i'm certainly no sound engineer.  throw the myspace music player into the mix and it gets even worse but it'll give folks an idea of what we're aiming for at least.

it's only got myself, mike and heather playing on it but once we get phil upto speed and perhaps one more member then we'll go and do a better recording with our friend rob.

let me know what you think(don't slag the singing too much!)

Just a wee blog to say we've recruited two new people to Winter in Siberia so that now we almost resemble a band.  Heather has joined on Clarinet and Keyboard and Phil is going to do some percussion and light drumming.  Heather will also be adding some singing from time to time.

Still on the look out for other members.  Particularly a bass player.

Also, we have a gig!  Figured it would give us something to aim for so we've booked a gig at the moorings at the end of June. Fingers crossed we're not rubbish!

David.

Hi!

We are Winter in Siberia and hopefully at some point over the next few months we'll have some music up here for people to listen to, maybe a few extra members and if you're particularly lucky we might even play a show!  Wow.

The main idea behind the band is just to have some fun and although we're not the most technically proficient musicians hopefully we'll make some nice tunes too.

We decided to pick the name Winter in Siberia because we figured if we went for something that sounded quite bleak then peoples expectations of fun would be quite low so we can pretend that people leaving our shows empty and depressed was a deliberate ploy.  It's a cunning ruse but it might work.

Be sure to check back when we get some songs and umm, stuff.

Regards
