Hi All!

Many of you have been asking why we decided to change our name after all these years of plugging away at Ken Oak Band.  Well...it wasn't an easy decision.  Obviously it's a little scary to completely change what you are doing and how people see and remember you, but we felt it was the right thing to do. 

We have been considering a name change for some time now, long story short every band name we came up with sucked!  I mean we thought they were cool for an hour or so in a drunken haze...but by morning, when our wits returned, we quickly abandoned them. 

Then something happened.  As we looked through old newspaper and magazine articles we noticed a pattern.  Oak and Gorski seemed to show up at least 4 times in each piece!  Wow..what a simple solution, change the name to represent what we actually are.  A duo named Oak and Gorski.  No gimmicks or flashy dated names starting with "The", just us folks.  This name best describes what we have become; a songwriting team that is interested in growing, experimenting in genres, and making the best music we know how to. 

We know alot of you have grown attached to the Ken Oak Band name, but we hope you will accept us as Oak and Gorski and grow with us.
