most of the scenes for the skywatchers video today.
children with masks on terrorising adults.
wardy looked terrifying in his finnish drunken clown make up. i think there would be a future for him in children's entertainment, if there weren't such strict guidelines.
here's one of the masks.

put three skywatchers tracks on the player. they are all of the forthcoming album. 'dead flowers for her' is the first single. venik is the singer. notes for anoraks...the string, flute, choir sounds on 'small lights' and 'do you want to go to space young man?' were played on the mellotron m400. the solo at the end of 'lights' was played on a jennings univox.

been making papier mache masks for the skywatchers video. mutated versions of a pig, horse, zebra and goat. i'm going for the surprised look. wide eyed and mouth open.

did our guest slot on Jonny Trunk's OST show on Resonance FM yesterday.

It was thoroughly enjoyable. Cheers Mr Trunk for asking us.

I don't know if it was podcast or anything.

For those that missed it, we played music from: From Beyond The Grave, Forbidden Planet, Callan, Tombs Of The Blind Dead, Macbeth, Quatermass Conclusion, The Thing, Hausu, The Mutations, The Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue, Watership Down, The Jungle Book...

We saw The Golden Hinde too.

The girl fronted project is resuming recording. We are called People Soup for now.
More on this later.

Deejayed at Sean Rowley and Christian Laing's Cover To Cover night at The Queen Of Hoxton in Hoxton, London last night. Had to have a piss on the hard shoulder of the M1 on the way back. Plus further pisses at various service stations along the way. Seven cans of Red Stripe has to go somewhere.

you people.

November 16 should see the release of a double CD/download mix album for Platipus Records. It's in the Art Of Chill series. Ours is number 6. Who is number one? I am not a number, I'm a free man! Where was I...?

So, it's called Art Of Chill 6 : Mixed by I Monster
It's quite different to what is commonly regarded as 'chill'. It's still a mellow ride, but not for bubble baths. We're not bleedin' common.

There's two, 60+ minute mixes done by each of us and includes three exclusive I Monster tracks to tantalize and tempt.

The I Monster tracks will be available separately as an EP through iTunes.

Here's the front cover image...
