xxxxxxxxx: i love the cock
sleepercat: er, hi ?
xxxxxxxxx: will you give me your cock
sleepercat: you can have my rooster

It's a weird night.  I looked up this person's aim and she's actually a girl.  Or at least, my best guess is that it's one of her friends spoofing her.

She even gave me her address.  I'm almost certain there is a news crew waiting for me to show up naked with a box of candy :/

I wonder how she got my aim ?

I'm mostly hanging out at www.weheartmusic.com, come join me and write about music with me.  Or send me some suggestions on bands I should cover!

Nothing else to offer, except, well I've become a TV junkie, no thanks to bittorrrent.  What I've been watching: Heroes, Veronica Mars, Prison Break, 24.

Podcasts: Mobuzz, The Buzz Report (on hiatus on account that Molly Wood is pregant), Bikini News (yeah, don't ask), Ask a Ninja (funnier than ask a Pirate), and Diggnation (tech news by two guys drinking beer).

These are my favorite music post recently.

I want to make my music thing a group effort so if you want to upload your music and talk about them - please contact me.  I would love to get some more diverse music than my sissy music.

Listen to Coast - Now That You Know Me
Listen to Coast - Shag Wild

Interview with Cristina:

1. When and how did you first hear about Coast?
Serendipity circa 2000. I used to buy and re-sell cds on Ebay for about 6 years. 'Now That You Know Me' was hidden amongst awful Pop and Hip Hop singles in one of the very first mystery boxes that I'd ever bought. I liked the cover enough to listen to it.

2. How many singles and albums did you end up owning?
To my knowledge, Coast only put out one album in the mid-90s. I own 5 singles (one single short of their total output), and no album.

3. What other bands do you recommend, that's similiar to Coast.
If one likes Oasis, Supergrass, Sloan, Superdrag, Bends-era Radiohead, Blur, or the Charlatans, they might find something to like about this band.

4. What's going on with Coast these days?
Good question. It's really hard to find any information on this band. Apart from having a very common moniker, they were a mere blip on the British indie music scene. Anyone with old issues of NME probably knows just a little more than I do.

Actual conversation with EL:

EL: i got this one
EL: http://www.banchoryshop.net
EL: it's awesome!!
sleepercat: awe dream of horses
EL: judy and her horse will look great on my boobs.

So.  A while back B&S released an internet-only album.  It's a "Don't Look Back" concert which basically  was their Sinister album, but live!

It's a great idea, but I thought it was lame that it was online only, complete with DRM and stuff.  Fortunately, people are always going to find away to strip that unwanted stuff away.

cassettesFor music and media, you have to read my vox, otherwise, you'll just have to do with the pictures on the left.

Isn't this great ? I found this in my basement today.  It's so awesome that I'm going to digitize them and throw them back into the basement forever....

I have just discovered artpad

For some reason it would not give/save the link, so I had to do a print screen.  If you love your work, that's what I suggest you do.  Here is my first attempt at it:

It's really simple. These are instructions for Windows XP users.

First of all you need to register and download the beta from Adobe

When you install it, it will ask you to close Firefox.  It will also try and access the internet - use your firewall to block any internet access.

When you launch the program for the first time it will ask you for a valid CS3 serial number.  If you have one, great, but I just ignore this and chose the 30 days option.

Next, find application.sif in your Photoshop CS3 folder and delete it.

Or you can do this if you want:

1) Go to start2) Run
3) Type in cmd
4) Type in DEL "C:..Program Files..Adobe..Adobe Photoshop CS3..AMT..application.sif"
5) Type in exit
It seems to work for me.  Let me know if you're having problems with it.

Well, with the extra time on my hand, I have started this successlessness.vox.comg.  I'm going to try and post more rare music... but I realized that it will probably get shut down anyway :/

You can "view source" and grab the mp3 if you're a little savvy to html (just look for something that says "mp3").

The my second entry is for Kenickie and Rosita.

Also here's a picture of SLEEPER <3:

There's some more awesomeness on japander.com.

Also, the strangest art: some guy is collecting 1,000 liters of sperm. Donor kits are available on his website. YUCK.

Also, I feel so bad for this guy:

Here is the much delayed Cooking with Dolly & Vu show:

We filmed this last year and then I got really sick shortly afterward and spent a few days in bed.

Then the show was too long to put on youtube and ... I don't know if any of you guys have ever had a massive amount of footage to watch and edit, but it's a long and painful process.  But it's pretty much done - I should do another show soon, any takers?

I will be honest with you, I have not kept up with Ron Sexsmith.  My area of music expert is basically 1993-1997, so of course I ran across Sexsmith around this time (probably closer to '95 when he was first emerging on the scene.)

I have listened to a few of his earlier songs, but I have never played him on my radio show, which I'm starting to regret now :/

I have to say that his music and writing style have aged really well.  His singing is like Roy Orbison with a little Johnny Cash.  The vocals were amazing (maybe it was the mixer), despite his claim of having some sort of throat sickness recovery.

The set started off with "Former Glory" which is a great intro music with its catching lyrics:

For the day is coming soon
You don't have to worry
Your light will return
In its former glory
I personally think that his live performance is much better than the studio releases, so check out my crappy camera work:

Sorry, my camera was never meant to be taken in low-lighting situations, so the image quality is pretty bad.  But if you've ever seen my camera, you'll be okay with the trade-off.

I'm enjoying my famous 'life of leisure' these days by bicycling in the cold of winter. I haven't ridden my bicycle in a while, I'll have to admit (which was why the tires needed to be pumped).

PS. Before you wonder, there is a bit in the video where a police car drove by and made the loudest noise... The sound was muted in favor of "Motorcrashed" by the Sugarcubes.

Here are some things you never thought you need...

BUSTY MOUSEPAD
Never again will you feel the crampness of your ... er... wrist on the mouse!

Sadly, according to their website (www.bustymousepads.com), they "do not accept custom orders".

RPG T-SHIRT
I just had a nerdgasm, that T-Shirt is AWESOME!

If you play old-school video games (like 4 bit graphics), you'd really appreciate that menu option.... I just had this awesome/terrible flashback of Bard's Tale II!

TITANIUM SPORK
No need for me to add any other comment, it's just too cool.

From www.thinkgeek.com: "Titanium is known for its great strength, corrosion resistance, and light weight, which makes this spork a valuable asset around feeding time. Imagine how much more food you could shovel in at your local buffet if you didn't have to worry about the strain of picking up a heavy fork or spoon. Your food consumption can become the stuff of legends."

PAC-MAN COSTUME
Er... That's not a joystick....

This is a working Pac-Man game costume!

HELLO KITTY XBOX
This special edition Hello Kitty Xbox comes bundled with the HK game and controller.

You can read more about it cnet.com... Which begs the question: When are they releasing an Xbox 360 version.

THE ULTIMATE ULTIMATE FREAKING INSANE SWISS ARMY KNIFE
That's not a knife, mate. THIS IS A KNIFE!

This is the most insane knife I've ever seen.  It's also the most expensive knife I've ever seen at £595.00. The knife has 85 blades, according to www.swiss-army-knife-wenger.co.uk (that's like 1,000 clams, dude!)
