“Chalk it up!” is a new photo feature on our myspace that features you - our fans! It’s a place for you to show your support and talk us up. There’s a bunch of cool photos already live.

It’s a pretty simple idea really, we’ve started snapping photos of friends and fans all holding a chalkboard and saying something (nice) about us. As you can see people have been having heaps of fun with it!

We’ve got a couple of chalkboards that we’ll have at our shows and we hope to regularly add new photos to the page. We dig knowing what people think of the music and seeing how creative people are too.

If you’re super keen to chalk it up but you’re hundreds or even thousands of miles from our shows, then you’ll have to beg, borrow or… buy a chalkboard and get busy!

The photo will need to be a 72 dpi jpeg 10 x 15cm. It cannot feature anything offensive. Also it should not identify yourself (other than your photo – no names).

You can email your photo to thetreehouseband@gmail.com and please include a sentence saying that you give us full permission to publish your photo on the world wide web.

It’d be extra cool if you managed to get some sense of place in your picture. Do you live near the Sydney Harbour Bridge or the Eiffel Tower, Mount Fuji or the Grand Canyon? See if you can squeeze it in the background of your photo! 

Otherwise in your garden, front steps, local beach – wherever is cool. We’re really excited about having a stack of your pictures on our page.
