Black IPA - A black ale dry-hopped with Amarillo and Cascade pellets
Organic Demolition Ale - Our original, Bronze-medal winning Strong Pale Ale
Organic Coffee Stout - Available every Saturday and Sunday in Burien
Helles Lager - Straw blond lager with mild hops and mellow malt
Imperial von Boorian - A dry-hopped strong-ish Belgian-style Pale Ale
Pinetop Red Ale - A tall and sturdy Red blending malty goodness w/ hop piney-ness
Red von Boorian - Ruby-colored and slightly tart Belgian ale (made w/ organic ingredients)
Riot Ale - Another in our family of Imperial/Double/Strong Pale Ales

BARREL-AGED BEER:
 
-New this month we'll be releasing a 5 gallon keg of one of our barrel-aged beers. The keg will be tapped on the first day of the month (maybe 2nd or third in June) and pour until it is gone. We'll have "proper glassware" to highlight the rare treats coming out of the oak.
 
- In Burien we'll pour the Imperial Porter aged in a Syrah barrel from DeLille Cellars in Woodinville.
- West Seattle will host a keg of Bourbon Stout from a Woodford Reserve barrel.
 
 
JUNE FOOD PAIRING SPECIALS:
 
-Small Plate: Chipotle Steak Chiliquiles $9.95
A small chiliquile of corn tortilla chips, tomato chipotle sauce and melted pepperjack cheese topped with flame broiled steak skewers.  Garnished with pico de gallo, fresh chopped cilantro and lime.
Pairs nicely with the Demolition Ale.
 
-Salad: Asparagus Vinaigrette $8.95
A generous portion of fresh Washington asparagus simply blanched and tossed with our house her vinaigrette.  Garnished with roasted red pepper and shaved parmesan.
Pairs nicely with the No Doubt Stout
 
-Sandwich: Chicken Pesto Grinder $10.95
Half a pound of grilled chicken breast served on a toasted bocca roll with basil pesto, pesto aioli and piled high with lettuce, tomato, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, roasted red pepper and red onion.  Served with our seasoned fries.
Pairs nicely with the Dry-hopped IPA
 
-Entree: Sesame Ginger Salmon $12.95
A broiled natural salmon filet topped with a zesty sesame ginger glaze.  Served with jasmine rice and chefs daily selection of seasonal vegetables.

-Dessert: Lemongrass Cardamom Creme Brulee $5.95
Our house-made twist on a classic crème brulee.

Washington Brewers Festival: June 19-21...the Mother of all Father's Day Festivals
 
- Come join us for a weekend of excellent local craft-brewed beers in the wonderful setting at St. Edward State Park in Kenmore.
 
- Consider coming out Friday night, June 19, when the brewers in attendance break out unique and unusual beers that will only be served that night.
 
- Buy Advance Tickets HERE.
 
- IMPORTANT CHANGE for 2009: parking is going to be a HUGE challenge this year due to major renovations going on at the park. A limited number of advance parking permits are being sold for parking on the grounds. Otherwise, plan to park at one of the park-and-ride lots and take the FREE shuttle.
 
- HOP on the BUS GUS: Or better yet, take the chartered bus from our West Seattle pub. The coach pulls away from the pub at 1:00 PM and leaves the festival grounds at 5:00 PM. Tickets are $40.00 and include admission to the festival. Call 206.932.8695 for details or drop by W. Seattle and secure your spot. Only 47 seats remain.
 

Cask Third Thursday:
 
- On the third Thursday of each month we tap a cask-conditioned keg from our sister pub in Burien. It's usually something unique and only for our W. Seattle patrons.
 
- Join us at 3:00 on June 18th when we unveil a keg of Riot Ale.
 
 
TWELFTH ANNIVERSARY:
 
- Looking ahead to July, mark your calendar for the 2009 West Seattle Summer Fest taking place in the Alaska Junction July 10-12. We also celebrate our anniversary that same weekend with a killer beer garden and the release of our Anniversary Beer (this year an Imperial Pilsner-style lager).
 
- In addition, we're brewing a special beer to raise funds for the city park across from Rocksport. It will be served in a new beer garden to be set up during the Summer Fest on the park grounds. Come by for a peek at the park and help us raise funds towards its completion.

ORGANIC Beer NOW in West Seattle!!!
 
-On February 2, 2009 Elliott Bay Brewery and Pub became only the second brewery in King County to be awarded organic certification for its beers. While we've been brewing with organic grain for a number of years now, we decided to seek certification for our year-round house beers and a handful of our seasonal recipes.
-Look for USDA labels on the board above the bar and on our tap handles that will designate which of our current draught selections is certified organic.

Cremini, shiitake and button mushrooms sautéed with Walla Walla sweet onions, walnuts and shredded carrot then rolled in wonton wrappers and fried until golden brown.  Served with sesame chili dipping sauce.

-Salad: Curried Chicken Salad $10.95
Harissa marinate natural chicken grilled and served over whole romaine hearts with almonds, green onions, raisins, fontina and shredded carrots.  Topped with a caramelized sweet onion yogurt curry dressing and mango chutney flatbread.

-Sandwich: Brewhouse Grilled Cheese $8.95
Our take on a grown up grilled cheese.  Creamy fontina and Swiss cheeses melted on golden toasted brioche with caramelized Walla Walla sweet onions and fig walnut chutney.  Served with sweet potato fries.

-Entree: Chicken Madeira $11.95
Natural filets of chicken breast pounded thin and sautéed with sweet onions, red peppers, carrots, zucchini and peas in a Madeira demi glace sauce served over egg noodles.

-Dessert: Apple Blueberry Pie-let $5.95
Tart granny smith apples mixed with local blueberries and baked in an individual pastry crust and topped with sweet streusel topping. Warmed and served with Husky Deli vanilla bean ice cream.

- (1) Each week we designate a "Beer of the Week" that sells for Happy Hour pricing all week long.
- (2) Growler Tuesday : discounted growlers of house-brewed beer each and every Tuesday

WE'RE ORGANIC in Burien!!!
 
- On July 17, 2008 our Burien location became the first brewery in King County to brew certified organic beers. All of our house beers plus a few seasonal recipes received either the "organic" or "made with organic ingredients" designation. Look for the green USDA organic decals identifying our certified organic beers.

ORGANIC Beer NOW in West Seattle!!!
 
-On February 2, 2009 Elliott Bay Brewery and Pub became only the second brewery in King County to be awarded organic certification for its beers. While we've been brewing with organic grain for a number of years now, we decided to seek certification for our year-round house beers and a handful of our seasonal recipes.
-Look for USDA labels on the board above the bar and on our tap handles that will designate which of our current draught selections is certified organic.

Cask Third Thursday:
 
- On the third Thursday of each month we tap a cask-conditioned keg from our sister pub in Burien. It's usually something unique and only for our W. Seattle patrons.

- On July 17, 2008 our Burien location became the first brewery in King County to brew certified organic beers. All of our house beers plus a few seasonal recipes received either the "organic" or "made with organic ingredients" designation. Look for the green USDA organic decals identifying our certified organic beers.

We would like to invite you to our first Hand Crafted Artisans Dinner. We will be pairing five courses of sustainable and locally sourced gastronomic delights along with seasonal house favorites and some fancified barrel-aged ales. Please join us on Thursday, February 26th at 7 pm. Of course that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t stop by for a pre-func pint. Cask Festival #10: March 28
 
- If you're a fan of cask-conditioned beer, mark your calendars now so you don't miss the 10th Anniversary Washington Cask Beer Festival on Sat., March 28
- Elliott Bay will be one of ten WA breweries brewing a version of the commemorative Herbert's Cask Fest Ale to be served exclusively at the festival.
- Tickets will be on sale in West Seattle & Burien in March.
 
Beer Stimulus Package:
 
- In an attempt to easy the pinch of the current economic downturn, the Brewhouse is implementing a two-pronged "beer stimulus package"
- (1) Each week we designate a "Beer of the Week" that sells for Happy Hour pricing all week long.
- (2) Growler Tuesday : discounted growlers of house-brewed beer each and every Tuesday
 
Burien Brewhouse does BRUNCH:
 
- We now serve brunch each Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM
- Food items to include: house-made donuts, buttermilk biscuits and chorizo gravy, sausage hash, blueberry pancakes, breakfast burrito, chicken fried steak, mimosas, Coffee Stout, and Irish coffee.

WE'RE ORGANIC in Burien!!!
 
- On July 17, 2008 our Burien location became the first brewery in King County to brew certified organic beers. All of our house beers plus a few seasonal recipes received either the "organic" or "made with organic ingredients" designation. Look for the green USDA organic decals identifying our certified organic beers.

-On January 14, 2009 Elliott Bay Brewery and Pub became only the second brewery in King County (Elliott Bay Burien being the first) to be awarded organic certification for its beers. While we've been brewing with organic grain for a number of years now, we decided to seek certification for our year-round house beers and a handful of our seasonal recipes.
-Look for USDA labels on the board above the bar and on our tap handles that will designate which of our current draught selection is certified organic.

Demolition Ale - A dry-hopped strong-ish Pale Ale that won a bronze medal in 2004
Chocolate Porter - Garnet-colored ale infused w/ organic nibs from Theo Choc.in Fremont
Hop Scotch - Brown and boldly hoppy with plenty of malt goodness
Noir von Boorian - Our take on the classic black beer style fermented w/ Belgian yeast
Pro-Am Imperial Pale Ale - A dry-hopped strong pale ale (8% abv)
Riot Ale - Another dry-hopped imperial Pale Ale (7% abv)

-Appetizer: Fried Zucchini and Mushrooms $6.95

Sliced fresh zucchini and button mushrooms breaded and flash fried until golden brown. Served with Luna Weizen cheese sauce for dipping.

-Sandwich: Chicken Cordon Bleu $10.50
Six ounces of chicken breast breaded and sautéed then topped with Black Forest ham and Swiss cheese. Served on a toasted baguette with Dijon mayonnaise and seasoned .
Pairs nicely with California Ave. IPA
 
-Entree: Baked Manicotti $12.95
Italian seasoned ground beef and ricotta cheese rolled in fresh pasta sheets and topped with our house-made marinara.  Baked with mozzarella cheese until bubbling hot and served with toasted garlic bread.

-Entree: Seared Salmon with Brown Butter and Capers $12.95
Fresh natural salmon filet pan seared and topped with a sauce of browned butter, capers, garlic, shallots, balsamic vinegar, lemon, white wine and fresh herbs. Served with jasmine rice pilaf and sautéed seasonal vegetables.

-Dessert: Espresso Crème Brulee $5.95
Creamy house-made espresso crème brulee topped with bittersweet chocolate shavings and whipped cream.

Cask Third Thursday:
 
- On the third Thursday of each month we tap a cask-conditioned keg from our sister pub in Burien. It's usually something unique and only for our W. Seattle patrons.
- Join us at 3:00 on February 19th when we unveil a keg of Burien Birthday Beer #2: Märzen Lager.
 
Burien Artisan Dinner: Thursday, February 26

Hello Pub Friends,
We would like to invite you to our first Hand Crafted Artisans Dinner. We will be pairing five courses of sustainable and locally sourced gastronomic delights along with seasonal house favorites and some fancified barrel-aged ales. Please join us on Thursday, February 26th at 7 pm. Of course that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t stop by for a pre-func pint. The cost for the evening is $50.00 per person, including tax and gratuity. Pre-payment and reservations are required. Please ask a bartender or server for more information or to sign up.
