The game started off with both teams punting the ball on their first possesions. Cburg got on the board first in an 11 play drive for a touchdown, going up 6-0 after the failed PAT. After Dublin went four downs and out on their second drive, Cburg turned the ball over on downs after nine plays. Later in the second quarter, Cburg got on the board with their second TD of the night on a four play drive that broke a long run down the home side of the field for the score. After a succesful PAT the score was 13-0. One play later, quarterback Jessie Whitlow hit Tyler Harrison, who broke free down the home side of the field for 80 yards and a TD of his own. After a failed PAT, the half ended with the score 13-6 Cburg. An early second half fumble recovery gave Chiefs fans reason to get excited, but even though they moved the ball better in the second half, Dublin was unable to put the ball in the endzone again. It was a hard fought game against Cburgs "stacked" team, and while you hate to lose, this game will help us as we continue on in our season.
