Most people would not think of the cornhole game as an actual sport, but it is fast becoming a very popular one. It has evolved from a simple backyard game to something that has developed a strong following. Tournaments are also organized in many areas. Cornhole is a game played similiar to "horse shoes" but with bean bags. The object of cornhole is to place the bean-bag inside the hole on the cornhole board. Cornhole requires no special skills or physical effort. However many people take this game seriously. Unlike horse shoes...cornhole can be played indoors or outdoors by any age group.

Rent a cornhole game for your next event for just $20.00 per event. If using our DJ & Karaoke Services there is not a deposit required, as our DJ will setup/teardown cornhole at the event. However if using our Cornhole equipment as a stand-alone service, a $50.00 fully-refundable deposit is required in addition to the rental fee of $20.00.

Event Planner:

This message is to inform you of a brand new service offered by Thompson Entertainment. To take full advantage of this service, you have to do nothing and pay nothing more. This is a free service to our clients as a way of saying "thanks for choosing us". Your business and your trust is so very important to us. If you have not reserved your event with us already, why wait anymore? Your event should be left in the hands of a Full-Time Master of Ceremonies, not a Part-Time Weekend Warrior! Thompson Entertainment's New Service is as follows:

Preparing for your special day is a huge process as you found out already. Meeting with Photographers, discussing meal plans with your caterer, sending out invitations, etc. There just aren't enough numbers on the clock to finish everything that needs to be done. Through all of the planning you are so excited for Grandma & Grandpa Jones to come to the event and see you in that beautiful sparkling wedding dress or see you celebrate with your family & friends. However just days before your anticipated event, Grandma delivers the bad news! She's got a cold and don't feel well. She informs you that all though she would love to see you, she cannot come but she would like some pictures. Now that Grandma & Grandpa ain't gonna come... what should you do?

A. Tell them to come anyway, just bring extra coats & blankets
B. Tell grandma since she ain't coming, you'll record her greeting
C. Forget about grandma because there are other guests who will come

The correct answer for... a successful celebration is B! For Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Nephews or any other family member who cannot attend your special day, they can still be a part of your special day without actually being there! Let us further explain how it works:

1. Have each family member unable to attend call our Family Hotline Toll-Free at 1-888-893-1587, 24 Hours a day, 7 days a week.

2. Listen to the Instructions and Leave a Greeting at the Tone.

3. The Greeting is Professionally Enhanced by our Sound Engineers.

4. The Greetings are played live during your Reception or Event.

5. All Greetings are Placed on Compact Disc as a Keepsake (Optional)

Thompson Entertainment is the only PROFESSIONAL Master of Ceremonies with the technology available to offer this service. With all this technology at our office, imagine what is brought to your event! This post is not intended as a sales pitch, but is rather intended to invite you to take full advantage of this brand new service!

Again... if you have not RESERVED your date with Thompson Entertainment, why sweat about it any longer? You've got other things to do! Give us a call now to RESERVE our services for your Event!

Our Event Hosts, Brides and Grooms have had the ability to plan their ENTIRE event from our website since 2003, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and save their work for continued progress. We have just added 2 new planning forms to our huge collection of forms:

1. Event Professionals - Wedding: This form provides the Emcee with information regarding every vendor associated with your event. The form only takes 5 minutes to complete and will allow your emcee to coordinate your event and better communicate with fellow vendors at the Wedding, as your Emcee is also known as the Master of Ceremonies.

2. Event Professionals - General: This form provides the Emcee with information regarding every vendor associated with your event. The form only takes 5 minutes to complete and will allow your emcee to coordinate your event and better communicate with fellow vendors at your event, as your Emcee is also known as the Master of Ceremonies.

Current Clients: Depending on the type of event you are planning, you can expect to see these new forms added to your event planner account (login) within the next 24 hours. All forms are created by our actual Emcees using event outcomes they have been involved in. Planning forms are not designed by an un-experienced outside party.

If your Emcee will dismiss tables to the buffet, he/she can use guest interaction techniques such as Bride and Groom Trivia, Let's Make a Deal, Name That Song and/or the Meal Wheel (feel free to choose multiple selections for a great blend). These techniques are guaranteed crowd-pleasers. The head table, parents and grandparents tables are exempt from any interaction techniques, as they are automatically dismissed to the buffet line with the head table before any other tables. Your guests are never asked to come to the DJ booth for these guest interaction techniques, as your Emcee will go to your guests.

Name That Song: Your Emcee will play a random song and randomly choose a table to guess the song being played. If the table gets the song correct, they go next for food. If they answer incorrectly, another randomly chosen table is given a chance to name the song. This process is repeated until all tables have been dismissed.

Bride & Groom Trivia: Tables are chosen at random for trivia questions unless you have a specific order. The table is given either a true or false question, multiple choice or general question regarding the bride and groom (what does the bride like best about the groom, did someone introduce the bride and groom to each other, has the groom seen the bride in a bikini, etc). If the table answers the question correctly, they go up next for food. If the question is answered incorrectly, another table is chosen at random and given a question to answer. This process is repeated until all tables have been dismissed. If choosing this option, please complete the form titled "Wedding Trivia Questions". You also have the option of creating your own trivia questions to be asked by using our form titled "Custom Trivia Creator". Both of these forms can be found in your Event Planner Account under "Planning Forms".

Let's Make A Deal: Your emcee will announce for specific items such as a black pen, clothespin, or other items. The first guest to raise their hand with the item called out by the emcee will go up next for food (as well as the rest of their table). This process is repeated until all tables have been dismissed. Your guests are not expected to give these items to your emcee, just show that they have the item with them that was called out.

Meal Wheel (Coming Soon): Your emcee will come equipped with plastic table numbers and a table-top spin (prize) wheel. He/she will spin the wheel and the table number that matches the wheel, goes up next for food. The process is repeated until all tables have been dismissed. Another alternative is for your Emcee to write last names of your guests on the prize wheel instead of using numbers, where anyone with that current last name goes up next for food.

Thompson Entertainment has been offering their clients the ability to plan their event online, from their home or work computer for the past 4 years. Our most used, and most popular planning form is our Wedding Reception Highlights Planner which covers every detail from the moment the first guest arrives, all the way to the last dance of the evening.

This 2008 Wedding Season has been great for Thompson Entertainment thanks to our Clients. Now as we enter our slow season (winter months), we will be making more improvements to our planning forms and website. One improvement was just made this afternoon. All of our planning form questions and features are created by the actual Emcee's themselves, not an outside party brought in to think of questions to add!

New non-traditional ideas were experienced this wedding season. One of them being that the Bride requested us to announce her vendors during introductions. Another being, that light background music was to be played during the entire length of their wedding ceremony and more. We have now put these "new trends" into our Wedding Planning Forms. The forms will walk you through your entire event from start to finish giving you new ideas. Use only the ideas you like and the rest is history!

To get the thrill of planning your Wedding online, with 24/7 access to your account, call us to request a free brochure or setup a no-obligation meeting with one of our Professional Master of Ceremonies!
