It took me a long time to complete Wm. Paul Young's, "The Shack". Every time I picked up that book, emotions poured out of me. It is simply amazing and enlightening. 

This is a message from Tanna who the whole band met out on the road. She has been such a sweet friend of ours and such a huge supporter! This message is why I love what I do.

Girl ya"ll really are my friends, i dont have many people that i call that. But when i met all of you, the first time i could not believe how real you all were. You didnt have that im a super star better than you attitude, I was impressed, But when i came to see you guys the second time and YOU NEW WHO I WAS AND CALLED ME BY MY NAME, I was blessed, and that my dear made you my friend. HERE IS KRISTINA'S STORY:

MY STORY
Hi! My name is Kristina Cornell. My life has been drastically affected by Lymphoma. In October of 2004 my sister, Tammy Cornell, had battled non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma for four years and needed a bone marrow transplant. My parents moved from Lancaster, PA to Seattle, WA with my sister and her two young daughters, Maria and Kayla. I was the perfect match, so I had the privilege of being her donor. They lived in Seattle for six months while she underwent treatment. My beautiful sister battled everyday from that point; All the while, keeping the perspective of enjoying her life, her family, and her babies. She maintained my fan club, holding pride in being the Kristina Cornell Fan Club President.

On June 16, 2008, my birthday, my precious Tammy passed. She contracted pneumonia and her immune system was not yet strong enough to combat the condition.

My parents continue to raise her daughters. Maria is now 12 and Kayla is nine. Needless to say, this has been a very grievous process. All of us are dealing with this as best we can. However, the opportunity that was presented to me to campaign for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as Woman of the Year has completely given me an outlet to take a very trying circumstance and make it triumphant!

Please, help me with this in any way you can. My two little nieces do not have a mommy, my parents lost a daughter, and I have lost the best friend I will ever have. Help me make it possible for others to never have to experience this. We need a cure. You can be a part of that cure.

I had such a blast coming back to my hometown for a show!!! Thank you so much to EVERYONE who came out to see us and show your supportive =D I loved seeing you all and am so happy everybody seemed to have a good time. I know we (the band) had a BLAST!!

Thanks to everyone with Camospace for promoting the show and to Al Brock with 105.1 for the promotion and interviews as well. Also a big thanks to the Chameleon Club for letting us play. The show wouldn't have been possible without my parents. Thank you both sooo much for inviting the whole town and putting up posters and ads! I love you both! And thank you, Andy, for starting the dance party during the set! Haha. I love you, Bud!

This weekend has proven to me even more that I'm doing exactly what I'm supposed to be doing with my life =)
