A word about the band and the audio examples on my MySpace page. i've posted some tunes from EB3 LIVE AT THE OUTPOST, featuring the original line up: KENWOOD DENNARD - drums, keyboard bass MICHELE ROSEWOMAN - keyboards, keyboard bass, and myself– ROBIN EUBANKS - acoustic and electric trombones, percussion pads, keyboard bass.

As the band doesn't have a traditional bass player –by design– each band member plays the bass lines on a keyboard at some point. The result, as I like to say: 1+1+1=4 and more, because - each member has t fully utilize and maximize his or her own abilities. From a listener's perspective we often sound like a much bigger band than a trio.

THE MUSIC and WHERE IS THE BASS? - PENTACOURSE Michele is playing the bass part and I play the bass lines during her keyboard solo. BLUES FOR JIMI HENDRIX - KENWOOD plays keyboard bass with his left hand, on this track, while playing the drums at the same time! INDO - MICHELE plays bass most of the time. KENWOOD plays bass during the keyboard solo. SOLO LATIN - I play my percussion pads. I record and loop them. I keep adding percussion parts until I have a full percussion section. I then add trombone parts and solo over everything. ENJOY!
