Current mood: sleepy
Category: Friends
After a long day of packing up a moving Truck, cleaning up bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens. Eating a ton of pizza(like almost a whole pie), and singing most of the time(i think my voice is shot), talking to Brendan and Tyler over the phone off and on was silly, fun, and made my job so much more enjoyable.Steve, kayla, kate, molly, and DARCY all did a fantastic job. I'm really impressed. We really did a lot.The cats were in cages all day, which probably suck for them, but we gave them food, water, and a kitty box. They slept most of the day anyway, haha, They were so cute.I'm excited for the move to Texas. But I can't sleep tonight... I was packing and thought about what i told Brendan over the phone, like "ohh, It hasn't really hit me that Molly, Darcy and Kayla aren't going to be here. I'm sure i'll be upset when we board the train heading to philadelphia."After my enjoyable shower, i started to pack, I picked up a pair of blue fuzzy socks molly gave me 2 years ago for christmas. I don't wear them much anymore because i don't want them to get a hole in them, but i realized, how molly is my best friend, over so many other people. She may be 10 years old and eight years younger than i, But you would be surprised at what compassion she has, her sense of humor, her mannerisms, facial expressions, voice, and style of clothing. I don't want her to leave in the worst way. I'm crazy about her. She is like a sister i never faught with or argued with. I never yelled at molly about something that is serious. We're like best friends, but i love her like a child. When we met, i was about 13 turning 14. When the words that fell off her tongue and into the air and she said "I'm gonna be a super model!*strikes pose*". I knew molly and i were going to have a great friendship. We've been through some rough, scary times, from when we got scared at camp from a horrible scream and left at 4am, to trips, to sleep overs, parties. It was about last year when we were playing dress up, and how i always thought i'd never want a child. Molly changed ALL of that. I wanted her to join Job's Daughters, so we could be sisters in a sorority, but she didn't really have the time to do it. I wanted to dress like her. I even cut my bangs short and got a hair cut so we could "match" it was all for a good laugh and awesome memories. But i never thought molly would actually leave someday. As i thought about not packing those socks i decided, i want molly to be the last one to wear them. As a keepsake. When Darcy packs, she saves EVERYTHING that was ever given to her by someone she cared about. It took forever to pack things, But the stories i heard, the memories, the love. I want to have that someday too. Even if hired help doesn't care or we are running short of time.I realize now, how i tried to be a very good role model, but not just say"oh don't do that molly." Set an example. Be above things, educate her, be honest, and just talk about things like it's not so taboo. Again, She may be 10. but the girl is brilliant. I met her when she was 5. And i'm never going to forget How she curls into my lap, or starts a tickle fight/wrestling match with me. How she asks me to touch up her makeup or play with her hair. How she tells me to STOP JEN when i make a sarcastic face while she is telling a serious story as she giggles. She made me change my view about "girly girls". She changed my views about kids, and honestly in people. She trusted me, loved me, and taught me things. I know She is going to change, and grow into a different person than the years that i've known her. But the ages i've known her are the best in a person's life.
