25 songs looking for ears Don Simon, Klimperei + Telefunken
This record was born out of chance, complete chance : seeing that someone was downloading every single Klimperei track I had put on Soulseek, I ended sending a slight little message, without introducing myself... We talk a bit then he says he's into music playing, in the band Don Simon & Telefunken (by the way, a crazy bunch of lads), got me into listening their music, I do appreciate and at last, I throw off the mask as he's greatly suprised, hé hé hé. We carry on talking and then the idea of « doing something together » quickly comes up as obvious... it was in 2006... Method ? DSYT has finished with its funny little and happy madness, tracks of Klimperei I had left messy, some of them almost finished, others hardly at their beginning... Ananda Cherer realized a superb mastering and Eriek of Acidsoxx, a faithful one, kindly agreed and patiently produced this record, now is the occasion to thank him traduction : sylvain santelli > first Pan Parag album soon : http://www.fallrecordings.com/

I am in contact with Amon Düül II for a long time with the idea to record an entire CD of tributes to AD2by Klimperei. But the days are short, and the task is no easy. We talked more and I proposed the idea of a compilation. This post is an invitation. I hope that all sounds ' toy-music ', I mean : the atmosphere of Klimperei and other cousins and relatives... I would also that the titles are chosen from the following albums: Tanz der Lemminge (aka Dance of the Lemmings) (1971) Carnival in Babylon (1972) Wolf City (1972) Vive La Trance (1973) Hijack (1974). I have no label to publish this project for now but I think it will not be too difficult to find one... No budget : is for fun ... Thank you for your attention. C. Petchanatz, Klimperei PS: If you don't know about Amon Düül II, see : http://www.amonduul.de/ http://home.c2i.net/dreambox/
