As many of you have already heard, Knitting Factory will be closing their current Hollywood location at the end of October.
I cannot imagine the past seven years without Bluebeat Lounge. The music, the good times and, above all, the friendships that have come to life at Bluebeat have uplifted me incredibly in ways I know will resonate through the rest of my life. It has been a labor of love every step of the way.
Thanks to everyone who has been a part of Bluebeat Lounge, whether on stage, behind the scenes or simply in the audience. None of it could have happened without all of you.
And so, it is both with great sadness and great joy that I announce the final Bluebeat Lounge event to be held at Knitting Factory in Hollywood. And it is a most worthy event, featuring 16 great bands in all three rooms, representing the diversity Bluebeat Lounge has showcased throughout its duration.
