Hello Sympathizers,
Well, all the tracking is done and we are in the post production/mixing stage of the album.
But while we are doing that we have decided on the track list and album title!!
And here it is.....

Synthetic Sympathies - Zero Time Reference
[1] Pretty Please
[2] Proof
[3] Enemies, Lovers, Heartache And Friends
[4] Triumph To Be Alive
[5] The Brightest Light
[6] Fairytale
[7] The Waiting
[8] Always
[9] Sea Of Clarity
[10] Fade

Now this track list is SOMEWHAT subject to change, but for the most part, that is what you will hear when you finally get your hands on our CD (or digital files if that's your thing)
We are going to work on artwork and such in the coming weeks as we mix.
This is all so exciting and I'm glad we will get to share our music with the world soon.

Until then,
Keep Rockin'

Hello Sympathizers!
The lead vocals are done!!
I am done standing in my contraption belting my lungs out.
So now.... our drummer.. "Jerry Lyons" has to do his vocal parts.
Then "extras" and "flourishes" must be added.
More updates to come...

Hello Fellow Sympathizers,
I'm losing track of the days here in recording mode.  Well, long story short, we can't do vocals until it is quiet in the studio.
We tried to do it last night but there was a lot of noise from neighbors at the studio and we think it will probally be better if we wait until we can do it during the day when hardly anyone is there in the studio.  I have Tuesday off so, this is vocals day!!!!
You guys have to see the contraption aka "singing fort" we have built for me to stand in while recording vocals. Its both amazing and hilarious. But I guess whatever helps the sound stay where its supposed to is good for us!
Its just really weird to sing when I can't actually SEE what's going on in the rest of the room. I only "know" that John is staring at me through the "singing fort" because he told me he would. LOL!
(Sidenote: I get uncomfortable when people are staring at me while I do any sort of recording, at live shows I don't care at all, but something about the pressure of recording does this WEIRD thing to me... I dunno, I'm weird, that's why I help write great songs...)
So, we are taking a much deserved 4 days off and then back to recording on Tuesday bright and early!!!
So until then loves,
Keep rockin' and reading,

Hello Sympathizers,
We've been really damn busy at the Synthetic Sympathies recording camp.
Yesterday I finished up all of the acoustic guitar and we recorded one song that is completely acoustic (so far) that should be very interesting.
We are currently working on the track list and we will definitely update you with that as soon as it is set.
This week will consist of extras and vocals.
Until next time,
Lisa M. Bello

Hello there Sympathizers,
The past two days were busy days for recording. I finished up most/if not all of my guitar tracks yesterday and today, and Ron started on his parts. After he's done it's onto vocals! (I think that's my favorite part.)
The songs are swirling around in my head as I type this and I really think its going to turn out great.
Stay tuned for more updates.

Hello there Sympathizers,
Day Two of recording went very well.
We finished most of the bass tracks, (only two left to do to do today!) and it is all sounding very good.
Next is my guitar tracks. I got fresh strings and picks and I am ready to rock. I'm a little nervous for some reason, but I know it will pass.
So I have a few singular words for tomorrow...
guitar.day.rock.hookie.
Until tomorrow,

Hello all you Sympathizers,
(Yes I just gave you guys who care about us and our music a NAME!)
Yesterday was the first day of serious recording. We had done some preliminal recording and quite a few drum tracks for various songs but yesterday with the help of Mr. Rob Simmons, we have pretty much finished all of the drum tracks for the album.
So exciting!
We have a tenative title for the record too. But I'm not gonna reveal that... yet!
I will update you tomorrow on what went on tonight!
Until later Sympathizers,

Hey everyone,

I just want to let you know that we have not fallen asleep on you guys and I hope that you have not fallen asleep on us!

We have decided that most likely, we will record about 8-10(maybe more maybe less) great GREAT songs, release them to you all, then we will begin to play shows.

On a personal level, I feel that these songs are incredible. And not just because I'm playing guitar and singing my lungs out on them. I feel that these songs have themes lyrically. We have a lot apocalyptic and "stay alive" themes that came out involuntarily that no other band I have been in has really had that string of consistency all the way through.  And also dynamically we have some great things going on.

All of these songs were written almost completely evenly by each of us except for one song that we have resurrected from the Table 57 days called Sea of Clarity.

I think that all of us as players and band members have really grown up and will continue to grow in the context of this band. Having another guitar player, the awesome Ron DiGrazia, is really opening up the sound and creating this beautiful melodic yet heavy sound that just takes me to another place when I listen to it as an outsider. Also, having someone willing to sing with me (our drummer Jay Curcio) is a great addition. Cuz' sometimes, you know, you just need to hear some goddamn harmonies. LOL! And John DiGrazia just amazes me every day when he plays these beautifully crafted bass lines that in a lot of cases carry the entire groove of the song.

But enough of my gushing about how awesome my band members are! I think you guys/gals/undecided as an audience are going to be sorta floored.

I can't wait to blow your mind someday in the near future.

We love you and keep rockin!
