Life after Divorce. Is it really that hard to move on after a relationship you thought was right turned out to be so wrong?  Many say Divorce is the end of their lives. So much for co-dependency! Others say "It's a new beginning. A fresh start to something exciting, powerful and awesome. It's unspeakable!"

Unfortunately, divorce is an option to many who have suffered at the hands of an abuser, a cheater, a liar and a destroyer. Why would anyone want to stay in an unconscious life of hatred, jealousy and greed when one can find peace within themselves to start a new life all over again on their own terms? Such as going to school, changing jobs or even getting a job.

Divorce is not the end of the road. It's the beginning of a new one. Accept the changes, embrace them, surrender and move on. In time. a brighter day will shine when you may want to start dating again and eventually find the one true person of your dreams.

Never settle for less or second best. If you are manifesting the characteristics of the person you want to marry, than you will attract one and the same. Please don't pretend to be who you are not. Why cheat your special self out of real love when you deserve all that is yours, whatever that may be.

Stay strong, serene, noble and loved. Above all this:  "To thine Ownself Be True!"

Until Next Time.

Dear Friends,

In 17 more days, Christmas will began and end another year. I wonder if people are more happier this year for Christmas than last year, or are they less happier than the preceding year.  Will people go further into debt to make Christmas bright or will they be more giving to others knowing that the greatest gift is the one called Service?

Service is sharing what we have with those who are less fortunate than we are. Service is giving of oneself to those in need so that they may have, even if it's just a little bit, something to enjoy and make the most out of.

This year, my church & I will be serving and sharing Christmas with one of our local shelters. Our Pastors asked us to be diligent and prepared to give clothes, hygiene products and Christmas cheer to those who are homeless and without extended family or friends to love them and be with them.

Around this time of year, many are without family and loved ones to hold and embrace them, to encourage and praise them for who they are. Just because many are homeless, it does not mean they are less than we are as persons. They are somebody too. Yes it's true that many prefer to be homeless and that is their civil and personal right to be. Despite their decisions, please let us reach out in love, hope, comfort and charity to those who may be nameless but they still are one of God's children which makes them special.

Let's spread the Christmas cheer of the real reason for the season and that is Christ Jesus. The Risen. The Saviour left us work to do. Let's get to it and make a difference in someone else's life and we will be blessed beyond measure for doing the very Will of God.

Thank U.

NOW that Thanksgiving for this year is said and done, does Gratitude have to end?  No, of course not!  Gratitude is a way of life. A never-ending mindset of appreciation for what has been bestowed upon you and others.  It's being able to acknowledge all of these wonderful gifts and blessings while in humility sharing it with other people.

How about a New Year's resolution?  A Gratitude journal.  One that you can refer back to and even share with others if you so choose. It's a reminder of never taking things for granted. Life is just a moment in time but we can make the most of the time that we have left on this earth. Let's not waste it on foolish and frivolous people and things.

Can we make 2009 a much better year than 2008? Yes we can. All we need is already inside of us and we can move forward with the knowing that all things are possible to those who believe.

Have a great day!

O the sweet smell of Turkey baking in the oven next to a delicious mouth-watering sweet potato pie. O my goodness, look at the coconut pie cooling off near the broccoli w/cheese and cranberries ready for the dressing as soon as Ms. Turkey is ready to carve & be served. Yes I'm talking about the most famous holiday in November:  Thanksgiving!  What are you thankful for?  I believe gratitude should be an everyday existence, no matter how big or small. Gratitude is good.

Now I want to take the time out to thank our Veterans for a job well done and for those who lost their lives to take care of us and to protect us against all odds. I salute them before November 11th, Veterans Day and I salute them forever thereafter. My hubby, Daddy & Uncles were all Veterans. I appreciate them, too.

What about other famous or infamous events of this November 2008?  How about Daylight Savings Time. I really get excited when I lose an hour of my time. Really, what is it for? What about Mother-n-Law's day. I leave that to your imagination. And what about one of my all-time favorites:  Hug-A-Bear Day. Is this day for hugging "real" bears or your stuffies. I like to know who thinks of this stuff.

In closing I want to honor Nov. 22 as Stop The Violence Day and the rememberance of President Kennedy's Assassination in 1963. Our new President, Barack Obama and his lovely family was compared to the Kennedy's of Camelot. With the Lord's guidance they will do well and with the Lord's protection they will be safe. May God guide the Obama family in the way they should go and lead this country based on godly morals, honesty and principles.  November 4, 2008 was a long time coming but it came. Let us appreciate this time and make the utmost difference to the entire world. Together.

Thank You.

October was both Domestic Violence & Breast Cancer Month. I heard more about Breast Cancer than Domestic Violence. Even though I do not minimize cancer as a horrendous, dreaded disease basically among women, D.V. is horrendous as well. Many women and some men have died at the hands of their abusers. They are in the cemetery just like B.C. victims are.  Both can kill and has and will continue to kill if there is no cure.

How can we as a country help those who suffer from both dreaded diseases. One is societal, the other physical. Both affects the mind, body and spirit of the victim.  Let's continue to grow in unison for changes and cures. Let's help, love and support one another during these trying times.

Let's pray that it may never happen again or to any of us at all.

Thank You.
