Current mood:  accomplished

So yesterday I went to the grocery store and bought WAY too much food for one person to consume. I shopped while hungry, NEVER a good idea. Anyway. It was way passed dinner time and with the stupid cold still settled as a nice haze over my brain, I managed to punch in $15 bucks cash back for parking and food and walk out of the store without it. I ALWAYS ask. ALWAYS. Who forgets their cash back? Granted, it's the cashiers' sole job to handle the cash end of things, but none the less, it was stupid of me to forget to ask. SoOooOoooo, my tired ass after a long day of class and work marched in there, drenched and windblown from the stupid weather and asked for a manager. The very nice manager of the Albertson's in Daly City on Mission Street gave me my cash back. Beautiful.

Hence; VICTORY IS MINE. Hooray for Stewie. Hooray for $15 not lost. Hooray indeed.

Myspace is a funny thing. Every day, I pop on here for a few moments and just glance around to see what's new. Most of the people on my list I knew personally at some point in time, and even more of them I was never really all that close with. It's odd how this silly little site can fool you into a sense of closeness, or involvement with those who you may never have cared to or had to the chance to know on any personal or meaningful level. I find myself referencing pictures or comments in conversations, such as: "So and so did this, and they then did this..." as if how people represent themselves on MySpace is the absolute truth. Still, I wouldn't know half of what I do about most of these people if it weren't for MySpace. I'm not saying its a bad thing...I'm generally pretty terrible about keeping in touch with people, and MySpace makes it really easy...too easy actually...But...I guess my point is...MySpace is a very weird and unnatural lil creation that we all can enjoy...It's almost voyeuristic, in a way.

Weird. So weird.

Oh Balls! I actually had something I wanted to write in here earlier, but I got stuck working on a stupid paper instead. Now I've been sucked dry of all my writing juices...Perhaps tomorrow.
