The novel, Monster Behind The Wheel, and the poetry collection, Attack Of The Two-Headed Poetry Monster, both written by collaborators Mark McLaughlin and Michael McCarty, are now on the final ballot for Bram Stoker Awards for works published in 2008.
Attack Of The Two-Headed Poetry Monster was released by Skullvines Press and Monster Behind The Wheel was released by Corrosion Press, a division of Delirium Books. The Bram Stoker Awards are presented each year by the Horror Writers Association, an international writers group which includes hundreds of writers, editors, publishers, and members of the film industry.
Attack Of The Two-Headed Poetry Monster is a finalist in the Poetry category, and Monster Behind The Wheel is a finalist in the First Novel category. Michael and Mark have released other books in the past, including solo and collaborative projects, and those were all either fiction, article, or poetry collections. Monster Behind The Wheel is a first novel for both writers.

I just found out about this earlier today: Thomas Ligotti's wonderfully creepy short film 'The Frolic' is playing online for free until November 4, 2008, as a Halloween Treat. The producer is also offering a discount of $10 off for the non-autographed edition during that time. The short can be seen at http://www. wonderentertainment. com
So, go check it out! Pronto! :-)
