Hello Everybody and Welcome to the Sizter Machyne myspace site for Sizter Machyne. Recently Sizter Machyne perfromed Live at a venue called the Attic located in Kettering Ohio, Well that show was recorded.  SO now you can enjoy on this page 4 songs that was taken from that show. You will see that we have a couple new ones and an old song and a cover. We hope you enjoy listening to these songs and we look forward to seeing you at our shows. And write us if you would like to have a copy of our old recordings....by the way, the new one is geting done right now so hang tight with us, we should have something out very soon.

Hello everyone, this is Blizzy and I would like to share with all of you bands and e.t.c about something I call festival scams.

In the last 3 years I have seen NUMBEROUS companies taking advantage of bands with some fraud festivals. Here are some precautions to let you know if they are bogus:

1) Multiple sponsors of the same type. - You can NOT have 3 energy drinks, hotels, airlines, etc as sponsors. They won't go for that. If you see multiple sponsors of the same type on a festival be leary. (check out the sponsors on Warped tour, Taste of Chaos, etc for examples of LEGIT sponsorship)

2) They ask you for a entry fee and promise to pay you 10x more than your entry fee. That is a HUGE red flag. Run, run very fast.

3) They have multiple bands on the bill, many from out of state and very few locals for support.

4) If it's 4 months before the show and you've not seen ANY kind of advertising. In order to pull off a festival advertising has to begin months in advance for it to be successful.

5) You don't recieve an outline about the event when you inquire about it.

6) You don't get a performance contract when you are accepted to the event.

7) They ask you to PayPal them a deposit to hold your spot.

8) It's a super huge festival first time out in a major location by a promoter that noone has ever heard of.

9) The festival takes place in multiple states and they are offering you camping... but all the locations the event takes place are in are all inner city areas.

10) And lastly, if you ask questions and you don't get straight answers, run. Run away fast.

I hope this helps you guys out. I can't keep saying "I told you so". Educate yourselves.

Hello everyone and welcome to this blog. Sizter Machyne would like to start of by saying how greatful we truely are to each and everyone of you who has attended shows in the past, the present and our future shows. Without you, It would not be possiable to entertain you all the way that Sizter Machyne does.

 

If you have not taken notice, we have not booked any shows in a while. Now We know that some of you have been asking when is our next show. Please stay tuned to this myspace site for futher updates. We will however tell you that our next string of shows wont be untill 2009. thats right the new year. Has we have posted before, we have been working on new songs and a stage show to boot. Sizter Machyne has always been the Band in the Dayton area that has played by our own rules, we pretty much march to the beat of our own drum considering those who only claim it. We look a certain way and choose a certain pressence about ourselfs all in the name of Entertainment and Rock N Roll.

 

So check back often with us, and we shall keep you up to date of our progress.

WELL IT'S BEEN A WHILE SINCE WE LAST SPOKE/WROTE A BLOG TO GIVE YOU ALL THE LATEST SCOOP ON S&M. SO HERE WE GO WITH WHAT IS NEW IN THE WORLD OF SIZTER MACHYNE.

 

SIZTER MACHYNE HAS BEEN WORKING REALLY HARD TO PROVIDE FOR YOU A AWESOME ROCK N ROLL SHOW. WE HAVE BEEN AT WORK TRYING TO BE SUPER PRODUCTIVE. WE HAVE BEEN WORKING HARD REHEARSING OUR SONGS GETTING THEM TIGHT, AND ALSO WRITTING NEW SONGS TO ADD TO THE CATOLOG OF ORIGINALS WE ALREADY HAVE. SIZTER MACHYNE HAS ABOUT CLOSE TO 20 SOMETHING SONGS OR MORE TO OUR LIST. A FEW MONTHS BACK, HAS SOME OF YOU MAY RECALL, WE TRIED OUR HAND AT DOING COVER SONGS....WELL LETS JUST SAY WE FEEL MUCH BETTER OFF DOING OUR OWN MUSIC AND WE FEEL THAT WE WAS CHEATING OURSELFS AND YOU WHEN WE GAVE IT A SHOT A COVERS. ITS ALL S&M SONGS FOR NOW ON FOLKS! ENJOY.

 

BLIZZY HAS WRITTEN A RIFF OR TWO, BUT HAS YOU KNOW WHEN AN IDEAL IS FIRST INTRODUCED IN THE BAND, IT BECOMES EVERYONES SONG, AND BLIZZY ENJOYS EACH PERSONS INPUT AND TAKE ON SUCH THINGS. SO FAR SO GOOD WITH THAT, AND ALOS SPEAKING THINGS BLIZZY, SIZTER MACHYNE WILL BE PERFORMING A SONG OFF OF BLIZZY'S SOLO C.D. A SONG CALLED "ESCAPE" LISTEN TO THAT SONG IN ITS ENTIRETY BY GOING TO WWW.MYSPACE.COM/THEJADEBLIZZYBOSTONBAND

Sizter Machyne is truely sorry to have to inform everyone, that Our August 2nd show @ O'gradys will not take place. however, we are looking to get in to a diffrent venue to make up for that date.
