This Saturday Feb 7th we will be playing first at the comet tavern in Seattle.

We hope if you have no plans you will join us.

Since we play first, we should be all finished up by say 9:50.

So we really will be playing our instruments by around 9:15 PM.

When we finish our set, it will be the perfect time for all of us to catch up.

You know... hang out, chat, have a drink and listen to the sounds of 3 other NW bands.

SPEAKER SPEAKER, IN THE EMPTY CITY, THE WANTEDS (from PDX) will follow.

When we were first asked about this show, we opted to play first because at the comet, in the past we have often ended up playing our sets at 1AM, and we felt it was time to try an early bird slot. This way the we do our thing early, then kick back and have some fun with friends.

We think you will have fun if you attend.

Our next show is in April. So really, we will be hiding again after this, writing, creating and coming up with even more new stuff to show you then.

we at DEPT OF ENERGY headquarters are heading back into the studio in late June... and will work in spurts through July and later to create our best record yet. A new sound, more grit and fire, more hooks more ENERGY is on it's way! Again... we will record with Johnny Sangster and hope to drop this one in your laps by November.

What does that mean for live shows?

ONE MORE BIGGY!!!!! JUNE 13th at the SUNSET IN BALLARD (SEATTLE).

We headline and we would love to have you come out to hear the old and the new...
it will be a long set of all of the above. Opening are two rad bands... YOUNG SPORTSMEN with a fresh new CD will rock you hard in the second slot. First slot is a great band from Canada called BIG FLIRT.

WE would love your support on this one, It was not going to be a headlining gig, but Shake some Action could not play the show, and so it is our big night. We will not be playing for a few months after this, so now is the time to join us!
