What up everyone, we know its been a while but we just wanted to give you the update on whats going on with us. Our drummer bobby dale has been rocking with our friend NCR for the past year and they got rocking new tunes for you to listen to check them out here. We also have some new recordings coming your way and we are currently working on some new material. We hit the studio next month. So check back soon cause you dont want to miss the new stuff.

Hello friends and family, The guys in Another Year would like for you to join us on the evening of reunion and fun. As you know we have taken a extended hiatus due to personal circumstances in the band, but we are being featured on Bakotoia's Vol 1 Compilation disc and decided to rock you one more time before we record at the end of the year. This disc will feature 16 of the best local artist from the Bakersfield area. We will be playing the 3rd release party on March 17th 2007 @ Fishlips. We have found a new guiarist to add to our original lineup. His name is Tim. Tim is a very talented guitarist from the band New California Rock. You guys are in for a treat, we will be featuring old and new so we recommend you join for the great reunion.

Another Year

Hello all just got big news news on the band. The band is on an extended hiatus. Due to personal circumstances our Brother/Singer/Guitar/Songwriter has stepped down from the band to concentrate on his new joyous soon-to-be arrival and carrer. Hes has stepped on to Fatherhood and we want to wish him the best of luck and congradulations. We know a lot of poeple will be sad that he will be leaving, he will be greatly missed and will always remain a part of the foundation of Another Year. We had some great shows and great memories  and we recorded 3 pro e.p. songs that will be forever etched in this world. So what now? well my friends its time to keep on truckin', the search for a guitarist and singer begins. Also dont count Tony out of music for good. Expect some recordings from him and us in the future. It may be the end of the original Another Year but were not done yet. We would love to thank our family, friends,studio 99, krab, vinnys, silver fox, rileys, sandrini's, pig studios (nick forcillo), tom baker, T, Larry and our neighbors, all of this wouldnt of been as fun or possible without you. From our hearts.

Quietly we are looking for another guitarist. If you are interested and think your up to the task send a message to us. A plus if you can sing but not required. 

Ok guys we keep hearing rumors and all kinds of stuff about us thats not true, so lets just set the record straight and clear a few things up


for one thing...... We are NOT broken up! We are currently attending to personal duties and we are taking te steps to improve our band. We WILL be back in mid 2007 with a new sounds and new energy.

Hello friends, we would like to give a couple thanks to Mike and Daniel @ Studio 99 for the great shows weve had there. We would love to thanks all the fans and family that attended our shows religiously, without you guys our band would just suck and none of the shows would of been fun. We would also like to thanks all the other venues weve played at; Vinny's, Silverfox, Rileys, Sandrinis, Frog & Peach, the festivals and events weve played at; Reagee Fest, Brews in the Village, Battle of the Imports. So for now we are taking a break from shows to write new material and step our game. We look forward to playing with a new sounds and engery in 2007. Also note we have had good talks with a record label and we are slowly working out somthing.... so until Another Year, we shall see you again.

Another Year

Yes its true, we have a label coming to see us play on May 26th... our last show of the year. Come down and support us and have a good time in the process, We have two signed bands from Canada: Summer side and Awake and Dreaming plus a local act known as Automatic redial. The show is only 6$'s and is it will be the last time you see Another Year for the rest of the year.

We had a blast over in San Louie, we rocked the set, rocked the locals and made a bunch of new friends. This was the first show back since bobbyD broke his left shoulder and it couldnt of went better.
