So through out my trip I've learned something: Airports are the perfect place to meet people you never want to see again - Like the black guy that tried 'networking' with me when I was at the sushi place in Philadelphia waiting on my law over...sure you have a 'production company' making 'r&B' in 'New Mexico' ...do I want to 'network?' NO not really...and yes I did notice your tattoos...they look cheap. Yes I have ink...no you can't see it. Oh and by the way the bartenders are sick of your one liners too - funny thing was that the bartenders there remembered me from my flight out and interrupted him to talk to me...Good work girls!
So I'm getting on the plane in Vermont, and my father went to park the car, the girl at the desk makes a comment about him being my boyfriend - Excuse me?! That's my father, and you're CREEPY!
Something about my appearance triggers quite a funny response in the less advanced areas of the US...for example, I'd forgotten that I get carded EVERY TIME I go out into US Mainstream Society for a drink...makes me want to touch up the pink in my hair all the more...
In some ways I miss hanging out in Montreal, kind of feel like I really didn't get a chance to experience the city...Then again the goth kids I stayed with took me to a store that sells Lip-Service...which I can order online and avoid Canada's 15% sales tax on EVERY THING. When I say I want to go to some more interesting places I get taken to a mid evil store in Old Montreal, which was fine (even bought a ring there). But still not any touristy kind of stuff. So next time I'm up give me some advice on places to go...should be towards the spring.
The Burlesque show I went to my first week there was a bit disappointing. Especially when it was $20+ and really didn't have a lot of variety in the performances. Definitely made me appreciate Bella's performance at BloodFeast more. They had a contortionist chic on a ring which was cool
Passport was a blast, so was Saphir. I find it odd that the city has separate goth scenes, it's interesting...makes each night you go out have a different feel...IF I lived there i"d pry be a Club Kid again lol! I did a show on Wednesdays for the Industrial goth night and Saturday for the 80s Goth night. Both had a really good turn out and a fun crowd (pics at
www.MySpace.Com/DjCyFi). And it REALLY sucks being back here with NO goth club

- Come on people...some one organize something. I have the equipment and everything, just don't want to worry with a night.
I've become so used to cooking for myself (and having to make everything from scratch) that the prepared stuff tastes like it came from a tube! Also I can't believe I ate THAT much Chinese last night! I think when I first went up to Canada I was going through chemical withdrawal - both from my usual intake of 'stuff' and the ones in my food!
Wanted to go to the Unibroue brewery since I was told it was near Granby...my favorite beer
Also ironically I couldn't get Crown Royal in Canada - definitely missed drinking that
All things considered it's good to be home and with my own stuff even though our local Goth scene needs some serious unity and work - stop bickering so we can do something cool on a weekly basis.
Going to go mail Caligula's Chocolates to him today...
I need to get business cards
