Hey Everybody...

Hey friends, just a few things to inform you of.

We're still doing auditions for guitarists, we've had a bunch of really promising auditions and we don't want to rush things just yet, so Drew Harwood from Farewell to Freeway is filling in a bit, so come watch him sweat at a few of our next shows if you want.

We're juggling on a load of stuff we have written, deciding what to record and what not for an upcoming full-length to have for the new year.  Getting our bums in gear fine tuning and demoing everything, so thanks for sticking with us. We're super stoked on the new material, so we hope to play you some real soon. With the CD stuff going, there will be new promos and layouts and all that fun internet stuff, so check back soon.

So, where to start?

On our way out to play Kingston on Thursday, to officially kick off our East Coast Darth VaTOUR 09, our guitarist/vocalist Jordan told us all (after a long and emotional discussion) that he will no longer be a part of Lifestory Monologue.  His heart and passion is elsewhere, and despite the awful timing we have come to forgive him.  He will be playing tonight in St. Hyacinthe for his last show, and we are forced to cancel the rest of the tour.

Our sincerest apologies to our friends and anybody that was going to be comin' to see us in: Sydney, Trenton, Halifax, Fredericton, Charlottetown. We promise we will try our best to get out there as soon as we can.

Yes Jordan is still one of our friends. Yes we will support him in whatever life brings his way.

Jordan's playing style and voice was a big chunk of our sound, and replacing him isn't going to be easy. But we are not going to stop doing what we love, we will not let this be the end of us, as Jason, Jay, Zac, Brett and I are still in love with playing music together. As much as losing Jordan is a deeply emotional cut to all of us, we are also super excited to begin incorperating a new person into our band. So just a little update,

Our bassist Jay Reid has taken a life-altering trip to Europe for 6-8 weeks, but do not worry! Zac will be singing all of Jay's vocal parts and our lightman Bangbus will be playing the bass for our up-and-comin' East Coast Tour and other shows.

Everybody wish Jay a great time, and be sure to send ecouragment to Zac and Banger D for their efforts!

So, we're back home from the eastern provinces, and just wanted to let everyone know we had a blast!

To all the new friends we met at the shows, you ladies and gentlemen made this trip worth our while. All of you out there we super friendly and receptive, and it was really a pleasure to meet everyone.

Also thanks to anyone who threw one of the shows or let us crash on your floor. It really means the world, and we couldn't be more thankful.

Hey Everyone!

Just thought we would post an update since we have been really quiet lately as far as keeping you up to date on what we are up to!

We've spent the last week in the studio with Jordan Valeriote at Sundown Studio laying down two new tracks. We have everything but vocals finished now, and are hoping to have them mixed and mastered within a month or so. We will be releasing these to you, just not exactly sure on what medium yet, so stay tuned for that!

As far as shows, it has been a busy year for us, and want to thank anyone who hosted a show or came out and watched us. It has been a pleasure to meet so many new people, as well as see so many friends so often! We are going to be taking it easy gigging for the rest of the year to hopefully make some headway on writing some more new material, so the 3 shows you see posted are going to be it until January.

Come January, we have some big Ontario dates coming up. We can't announce exactly what yet, but they should be confirmed and ready for your eyes in the next few weeks, so keep checking back for those as well.

After that, we will be hitting the states again in February, so for those who keep asking us to come back, or to come to your city in the first place, shoot us a message and we will do our best to fit it into our routing! Or, better yet, if you know someone who will throw us a show, or can do one yourself, message us and lets work out a date!

Lastly, we will have another video up sometime soon with interviews, live footage, and hopefully some studio footage as well.
