It's official ladies!  I am off the market.  I just want you all to know that I am happier than I ever have been and I hope that for each and everyone that will read this.  Thanks for all of the love and support that those who already know have given.  We will not be setting a date immediately.  It will probably be at least a year away.  We want to make sure we decide whether we will be here or in Nashville, and that basically depends on how good I am at finding a job.  We'll see how that goes.  If you would like to see the festivities that took place last weekend, check out my facebook page.  There's a video and plenty of pictures.  I will let everyone know about any details later.

Don't ask me how I have accomplished this, but I have managed to have a 3.14 so far in my MBA program.  With 9 hrs to go, I'm super stoked to finish up in December.  Just wanted to let any doubters know that I'm on the cusp!  WOO HOO! 

I'll be in St. Louis for a Ticketmaster conference coming up!  There's supposed to be a good showcase while I'm over there.  I'll let you know if the show is any good!

Lent is finally over, and I am caught up on my messages.  I hope that everyone had a blessed and happy Easter!  Page and I enjoyed lots of family time and plenty of food.  As graduation approaches for her in May and me in December, things are picking up and beginning to get hectic.  There may be some major changes around the corner for us, and I'll be sure to keep those that care posted.  Please feel free to check back for updates!

It's hard to believe that I'm almost done with my Masters.  As Dec. '09 quickly approaches, I find myself groping for it like a carrot on a string.  With it will come another shingle and another tick mark on my resume.  I apologize for not putting an accent on the word resume.  Although I find romantic languages intriguing (which I'm assuming that resume is French, please correct me if I'm wrong), I find their punctuations senseless and untypable... but I digress.  Besides, the spell check is telling me that untypable is not a word, whereas many know that I believe in the indiscriminate and unregulated usage of prefixes and suffixes, which would make it a word… again I digress.  I think my life is full of digressions in this sense, but for once, I'm tugging on.  Half way translates into a downhill battle from here for me.  So, nobody blink!  I'll have my Masters soon!  For the doubters and naysayers, keep on doubting, for it keeps me keeping on, fighting the good fight, and performing other clichés I'll not mention here.  DAMN!  Word inserted that accent without my permission!

Homecoming 2008 is October 10-11. The theme is "Year of the Racer!"  The Homecoming Grand Marshals are Charles ('56 BS History) and Marlene Rann Johnson ('57 BME) of Carrier Mills.
