Has nobody noticed this??????????

http://www.hootpage.com/hoot_elmarcuratododiary9.html

It's under Nov. 16th.

Here's some excerpts

Raul, "Also playing are a band of punk kids from amarillo who call themselves the revolt, they have home made t-shirts with big green grenades stenciled on them. Here's some words i'd never imagined myself to write, are you ready, okay, here they go...they did a good billy joel cover, what's that all about, i fuckin' hate billy joel. The drummer saved the day, he let me borrow a stand, in exchange for my stool, and he needed the throne too. It was kinda refreshing to play with a highschool punk band, they even did a descendents cover. Lot's of songs about all the pro war hillbillies in their town. "

Ha Ha, he thought we were a high school band.

Pete, "while the second band, the revolt' is setting up. the crowd looked pretty decent. the revolt' started their set and I listened to them. very much like rancid'. the peeps were polite and clapped but they didn't seem to be getting into it much. "

I didn't see that Mike Watt wrote anything about us though.

Current mood:hungover

we played in clovis, nm saturday night.  (may 6th).  the trip started off pretty good...in the hot ass van with no air conditioner...but then ronnie says "hey, we can get moonshine in umbarger."  "sweet," said the rest of the band (except dave who never ever rides in the van).  so we stopped and saw this mason jar with a label that read "shine on, georgia moon."  so, $11.35 later, we were heading to clovis taking turns drinkin out of this jar...and we get to clovis.  damn.  i (tyson) and miller were stumbly.  i was, of course, because i had a 6 pack before that, but miller only weighs 78 pounds with clothes on, so that little bit got him good.

so we played.  and i dont think it sounded too bad, but i dont know...or remember really for that matter.  but anyway, stoli and the beers take the stage.  i had just got done telling them how badass i thought they were, and told them they should dedicate a song to texas punk rock...since we were in new mexico.  so i was watching them play, and their hippy lookin drummer starts to talk shit on stage...about us.  what a poop dick.  so i spit on him and said "wait till monday bitch!" which is when they are playing with us on our home turf...in amarillo...TEXAS.  bitch.  today is sunday, so that would mean tomorrow is monday...but i will keep you updated on how bad we roll him/cut his gay hippie hair.

so we played at the pod with the dropouts and started off the night with some rather heavy alcohol consumption.  tyler (now known as knux) and john (now known as beat-o) rolled the goth kid like whoah.  i would have felt bad for the kid, but he was talkin some mad shit to us at the previous show, and he was messin with knux all night, so i guess he got his.  it was pretty crazy...during too little too late all i saw was a mohawk run across the room and the goth was down for the count.  dayyum.  then we waffle housed it and all was well in bomb city.
