Most of you know Mic Machete is back from his long hiatus.  what we plan to do soon is go into the studio and lay down some fresh tracks. As for other things we currently are getting better as far as our sound goes. The creativity just continues to grow and the bond have gets stronger and stronger.  Each of us are going through some rough edges but we make it our business to rise above it.  We want our music to touch people and make them want to have fun and live.  We represent the fact that everyone has a little hate and angst in them and that it's ok because your all are not alone.

On a side not we plan on doing some gigs.  Nothing right now but in due time. another thing, if anyone would like for us to perform at their event or even their party drop us a line on either micmachete973@aim.com or horrorflixnj@yahoo.com

leave some comments spread the love and we will not stop with our music

Tonight we came back to our high school to play battle of the bands...

We weren't competing, we were just there to play and have fun. However, we were seriously disrespected by one other band, (a terrible one, at that) and our set was cut short because the equipment was being turned off and put away, while we were playing, no less.

Congratulations to Vreeland, a bunch of talented guys who deserved to win the competition. They're fine musicians as well as excellent people overall. Excellent efforts as well by When Fate Falls Short and Oscar's Bowie cover band. (And sorry to the first two bands, whose set I missed.)

As for us, thanks for the support, to everyone who stood in the front row and moshed away. Treat every show like it matters, because this one certainly did to all of our fans.

Current mood:  artistic

Come check us out at our new address on the web:
http://www.noisehead.com/mypage/horrorflixnj

Noisehead.com is a great place for people who love music.  Sign up (it's free) and you can:
 - listen to free streams of new music
 - vote us (or any of your other favorites) up the charts
 - talk with us in the forum or right on our page
 - set up your own page and playlist

It's all free unless you want to download a track for posterity.  At 69 cents a pop, we think that's a pretty good deal.

 Thanks for your support.

 Sincerely,
 Horror Flix

Everlasting

Abyss

Chemincal Friction..

Studio versions of these songs will be posted up on our MySpace in the next few days. Major props to Freddie for making it sound hot as hell.

We'll also be handing out copies for free randomly for those who can't get to the page, but since you apparently have access to MySpace, that is a non-issue to you.

And this is only the beginning! Horror Flix is constantly working on new material, so there will be more coming your way in the following months.

We played tonight, along with a bunch of other cool bands. To those who went to see us, we hope you enjoyed the show.

To the esteemed Horror Flix listeners:

Our new song is called Analyze That. The guitar intro may throw you off, but it is a cool paced and has seriously themed, despite quirky instrumentals. We hope you enjoy it; We didn't bust our asses too hard to get it done, though.

I actually played bass on the recording. We need a permenant bassist: somebody local and dedicated that can get the job done. That could be you!

Stay posted about a live show in the near future.
