(CONT...)To the point that it was even adopted into hip hop under the name "Electric Boogie." Electric Boogie was a mis-interpretation of the term Electric Boogaloo. So as you can tell, pete is no stranger to the stage and is far from being a stranger when it comes to inspiration. Just ask his son Shonn Boog, who is next to carry the torch one day, or ask any of his students around the world that he has helped to inspire concerning "dance" and "life" in general(as if those two words existed separately anyways).

Popin' Pete's resume is about as long as the great wall of china with such accomplishments as Commercials: GAP, Sketchers, Levi Strauss, McDonald's, Various soda brands like 7-Up, Shasta, Pepsi. Award shows: The Grammys, Soul Train Awards, BillBoard Tv land awards. Music Videos: Beat it-Michael Jackson, Crossed Eyed & Painless-The Talking Heads, Captain EO & Ghost- Michael Jackson. Theatre: Madhattan-Las Vegas, Funkstyles-Las Vegas. And if that wasn't enough pete writes & choreographs shows as well. Which brings me to my next point, Popin' Pete loves to educate and entertain the onlooker. Whether it be on stage during a performance or being "schooled" by him in a battle, there is one thing you can count on and that's Pete entertaining while he educates you, because like Krs-One, Popin' Pete has a PHD in "Edutainment."


Currently Popin' Pete is blazing stages on a domestic and international level. Working alongside some of this generation's brightest and most talented music artists. Artists such as: Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani, Mya, The Black Eyed Peas and Janet Jackson just to name a few. The work he has done with them includes: Performing alongside Janet Jackson at the 2006 Billboard Music Awards, A featured dancer in The Black eyed Pea's "My Humps" video, and Co-Choreographing Gwen Stefani's "Wind It Up" video and also Co-Choreographing for both: Justin Timberlake's and Gwen Stefani's 2007 tour. It seems as if time plays the supporting role of "ally" instead of "enemy" in this man's career. Because I for one do not see an immediate end in sight.
