What's up all you Jumbies out there!!  Our annual tour is going great so far.  Started off with the cool lakeside vibe up in Okoboji, played maybe our most fun show ever in Des Moines, made it to Colorado and ROCKED THE **** out of Sancho's Broken Arrow last night.  That place is always great.  A cool guy named Javi caught Justin during a break at the show and slipped him his number....no it's not what you think....he invited us to play at his bar, Shwerver's on one of our off days and it's ON!  We'll be there tomorrow (Wednesday) night and ready for all sorts of craziness...

Hey everybody, 2 things....

First, it really blows, but we're not playing the House of Bricks this Friday anymore. A little booking conflict. That's all we have to say about that...

But, we WILL be playing for ISU's Homecoming at DGs Tap House still, so we'll be saving it all up for that show! Hope to see you there after the Cyclones victorious defeat of the nasty Aggies! ok, ok, stop laughing and come to the show anyway!!

You really better come cuz this is our bassist's Nick's last gig with us! It's been great having him back in the group after a long absence and we wish him well sailing the high seas!

Hey Iowa City! If you know us, cool. If you don't, nice to meet you now lets dance! We want you all to come out to the Industry tonight, Friday, Oct. 3 and party hard. It's a Friday in IC, you gotta party! Good drinks and specials of course and merchandise give-a-ways if you do something special for us! ;) Come on out and escape with us for a while. We're on at 10 with Unity, reggae from Wisconsin, up afterwards. See ya!!

That's right we're on the road again! As I write this, I'm riding shot gun in the van while stan is motoring us west on lovely I80. James (from Mad Monks who is joining us for this tour cuz seth couldn't make it) is the only other person still awake and we're listening to a Santana song I've never heard before...strange. We're returning to Colorado for another visit for the next 4 days. Can't wait to get out amongst the mountains again. Euforquestra definitely has the right idea. So tonight we're playing Sancho's Broken Arrow again and looking forward to an even wilder Monday night than last time.Tuesdays still open..for now? Wed we head to Boulder to play the Redfish Fishhouse and Brewery for the first time. ..fishhouse and brewery? Hmm.... Anyway, Thur we're back in Denver at Dulcinea's 100th Monkey playing with Salvador Santana, Friday we head back east and do Cheeseburger in KC again, then over to STL for the really cool Donoroo benefit at the pageant. We're bringing new tunes of course so all you kids enjoy 'em. Even playing an all reggae show on wed. Should be a lot of fun. I'd be down for just staying out on the road for a while if we could. Just in time for another frigid Iowa winter..Jumbies are just about to head back out on the road.  It's been a while since we've seen most of you, but our little hiatus over the last few months looks to be proving pretty fruitful.  We've said good-bye to some members who we definitely miss, but hello to a funky bunch of new cats who you're gonna love.

Keep watching the calendar as we're just about to start posting new dates for the first of the year and beyond.  We're looking forward to hitting Ames, Des Moines, Iowa City, Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, and the Quad Cities especially hard this winter and spring, with a few excursions to other random Iowa towns, St. Louis, Kansas City, and maybe Omaha and Chicago thrown in, then hit the road for a return to the west and visits to the south and east over the summer. 

We'll also be featuring some new tunes as well, and of course are REALLY excited about bringing some brand new Jumbie funk to all your ears and bodies.  From Iowa to the islands, we're getting excited to see old friends and make new ones!! 

Hey just wanted to give a big public thanks to all the support from our quad cities fans (some old some new).  Our weekend stint at RIBCO was a lot of fun and we're looking forward to doing it again!!
