Thank you to our friends at Electrik Press for this lovely review:

"The opening track of “Flashlight Radio” builds from an atmospheric country intro into a driving climax that pulls the listener into a world of northern skies and moonlight. ‘Let it Go’ comes in soft and strong in it’s lyrical content highlighting the song’s introspection and the band’s intricate harmonies that are most apparent in the chorus. ‘Black and White’ and ‘Constellations’ are both similar in form as the instrumentation swells toward their dramatic conclusions. The energetic ‘Leaving’ followed by ‘Avoiding You’ are breaths of fresh air to the EP, as they break from the shared tempo of the prior songs. Wilde’s airy voice compliments Flashlight Radio’s urban country sensibility helping to create a thoughtful, heart-felt collection of songs from start." -J. Marton

On Oct 31st, 2009, the Children's Storefront, a play-place for young children in the annex (where both Ben and I used to go as kids) burned down in a devastating fire.

Residents of the annex are doing everything we can to help raise funds to help re-build this beloved community meeting place so that parents will once again have a safe and friendly place to take their young children during the day.

Please join us for an all day fundraising event for the Children’s
Storefront’s new home.

The summer is done and what a summer it was! Suzy and I want to thank everybody for making the summer what it was. We played some great shows and discovered some cool people and places! We had our cd release party at the Rivoli on the 27th of August and it was a great night, full house and tons of good vibes. What more can you ask! If you want to purchase our cd you can go to Sonic Boom or Soundscapes in Toronto. It will be available on Itunes and other online retailers in about a month so check back for updates on that. If you need it right now you can go to the store section of www.kenwhiteley.com and buy it there. As you might see we have no fall dates booked as of yet. Suzy is going off on a European adventure for a few months and Ben is finishing up a university degree but come November there will shows booked! Check back for more updates! Keep’n on Truck’n! -Ben
