SAD NEWS- Eric Laufer (R.I.P), best known as singer for The Two-Timin' Four, was tragically killed in a hit & run accident Sept.4, by a truck, as he was ridin' his motorcycle home from a gig in Texas. He died instantly. He was 25 years old. The news is made even more tragic because, dammit man, Eric was one of the nicest guys you'd ever wanna meet. I use to meet up with Eric and the other Two-Timers, Shane & Jeff, here and there, all over the states (they toured constantly) for years, and we got along so well that we decided it'd be fun to start a band together and that's how the Firejacks started. Actually, Eric even named us that at dinner one night...We were jokin around with band names and, after the meal, we all agreed we'd never find a dumber name, so it stuck). Eric, We all miss you bro.

Yippa-hi! 

Man, is 2008 ever a blast or what?!? Let's see..

-Started out the year with my new band, THE BOOTLEGS (featuring Les Jaguars six-string master, Arthur Cossette!)   

-Went to Mexico and started another band, THE HALF-WAYS

-Played lotsa cool fests & toured Europe with MARGARET DOLL ROD

-Saw THE TRASHMEN play live in Italy!

-Recorded a buncha new toons in France for a new LP on Hog Maw

-Played a buncha shows with Rockabilly Legend ART ADAMS in Canada

-Went back to France to play with THE TRASHMEN !!

...and, like wow, what's next, ya say? Well, Lotsa shows planned for Canada, Israel, France (..and a possible return to Mexico in November), and Lotsa new "music" on it's way!...Keep yer eyes peeled to the GIGS & MERCH pages for all the latest info!

Seems that a buncha you out there didn't hear the news that I was banned from the states (even Hawaii & Alaska!) for 5 years...Maybe I'll do a  tour of border towns, that could be fun..
