ACIITONE
Setup in 2007 Aciitone digital is a label group promoting various styles of electronic music mostly geared towards the club environment. It is managed and run by Dublin DJ and promoter Al Keegan (A&R) and Irish techno producer Gavin Lynch aka Matador (Studio) and consists of three colour coded labels Blue, Red and Green each offering something a bit different. Recently launched Aciitone Blue is about deep, melodic and progressive sounds, Red caters for darker, twisted, deeper and moody tech house, minimal and techno and Green is about the big room music made for peak time. Artists and remixers featured on the label include - Matador, Perc, Lutzenkirchen, Sourcecode, Abe Duque, Milton Jackson, Jet Project, Hans Boufmeyre & Kid Handsome as well as a host of other talented Irish and international artists.

D1’s 50th release is due out next year & will be launched along with an event featuring a host of international luminaries featuring on the album.

ELEVATION
Galway’s Elevation has proven itself to be a very versatile label and one definitely not shy of gliding from the deepest electronic house grooves all the way through to groovy techno when the mood demands it. Sticking to one repetitive sound is boring and that’s one thing Elevation can never be accused of being. Homegrown sounds from artists like Aruba, Gavin Herlihy, Corrugated Tunnel, Scope, Timmy Stewart (Jet Project), Chymera and Bubba & T-Bone have mingled comfortably with the more international tones of Shur-I-Kan, Tigerskin, Wareika, Jamie Anderson, Chelonis R. Jones, Soul Minority & Milton Jackson. With almost 40 releases under its belt Elevation shows no sign of giving up the ghost and grows with each release, trying to do its little bit in the global music scene.
Elevation is run by Aruba (Aka Darran Nugent) since 2001 in Galway and he also hosts the monthly Elevation radio show on Proton Radio with a different Elevation guest each month. Aruba has also featured as producer/remixer on labels like Darkroom Dubs, Night Drive Music, Plastic City, Toko and Brique Rouge.

FVF
FVF Records is based in Dublin. It was set up in 2005 with its roots in techno and a firm resolve to help further the Irish music scene. FVF is comprised of both record label and event management / promotions. The promotions/events side has a string of underground parties and club nights under its belt. You can catch the infamous label nights in Dublin, at the recently opened Twisted Pepper (formerly known as Traffic) which is run by Bodytonic. The label has also made an effort to get involved with other European promoters and thus far has thrown parties in Bucharest & Barcelona.
FVF Records currently release on digital only but plan to have their first vinyl release in 2010. All releases can be found at Beatport.com. You can expect to find fresh and edgy releases from both the best established, international producers and the most exciting, new talent. This year has seen well received releases from Marc Ashken, Donk boys, Pheek, Re:Axis, Metrotek, Heron and Lado. The label had its first release in September 2007 and already FVF have built up a momentum that will last for the foreseeable future. This label has only one goal – to release quality electronic music.

MODEMUSIC
The Mode Music label is based in Dublin, Ireland. It was formed in 2006 by Al O Hare & Dion Cruikshanks with the sole purpose of releasing forward thinking electronic music. Its artists and remixers include the following: Indo Phunqe, Soul AD, Resoul, Paul Hughes, Timmy Stewart, John McIver, Corrugated Tunnel, Matador, Timmy Stewart & Arveene, Bubba & T-Bone, Gavin Lynch, Silicone Soul, Audio Soul Project, Milton Jackson, Scope, Digital Circus, Phonique, Jaycee, Aruba, Llorca, Pier Bucci, Chymera, Simon Baker, Phonogenic, Dave Hughes and Sasse.
Its releases have been supported by DJs including Brett Johnson, Chris Fortier, David Duriez, Davide Squillace, Desyn Masiello, DJ Hell, Evil Eddie Richards, Funk Dvoid, Gregor Tresher, Hakan Lidbo, Hernan Cattaneo, James Zabiela, John Acquaviva, John Digweed, Laurent Garnier, Leigh Morgan, Len Faki, Nic Fancuilli, Paolo Mojo, Robert Owens, Satoshi Tomeii, Silicone Soul, Steve Lawler, Technasia, Tommy Four Seven, Tom Pooks, Trophy Twins, Tyler Stadius, Yousef,

NICE & NASTY
Nice & Nasty is a pioneering Irish label started by DJ/Writer Desy Balmer in 1993 in Belfast at the end of the Troubles. Its name is a classic disco album by the Salsoul Orchestra, but in truth, Desy got the name from a Mixmag article on old hardcore rave act, The Messiah, which has come to symbolise his attitude toward music and scene. An early success included the release of ’94 club anthem ‘Bolivian Angel’ by Ubiquity that was eventually licensed to Music Man in Belgium, and while the label’s sound remains purposely undefined it often falls into the area of techno and house. Nice & Nasty has raised the profile of many Irish artists internationally, and is now home to artists such as Terrence Dixon, Orlando Voorn, Rennie Foster and Marco Bernardi, as well as countless Irish including The Parallel, Mick Chillage, Rob Glennon, Vakama, T-Polar and Tr-One. Its ever-growing fanbase includes Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Slam, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox and Ben Sims.

PSYCONAVIGATION
Psychonavigation Records started in 2000. The label was set up by Dublin DJ Keith Downey. His original ambition was to release music from Irish musicians who sent demos of their music into his popular radio programmes on pirate radio stations Kiss FM & Power FM. The debut compilation ‘Psychonavigation the compilation’ was released in mid 2000 and what followed over the past 9 years has been a steady release of quality music from both Irish & international musicians from every part of the globe. Respected artists such as: R.S.A.G., Mixmaster Morris,Richard H Kirk, Arve Henriksen, David Moufang and The Pale have all contributed to the label’s success. The label has just celebrated its 33rd release in the form of ‘Y9′.

seedyR
In 2004, Edwin James & Liam Dunne created the seedyR label, with a focus to develop an independent platform for artists, both Irish and international, to release their music on CD & digital format. To date, artist and remixers who have appeared on the label include Corrugated Tunnel, Chymera, Mark O’Sullivan, Orlando Voorn, Rob Roland, Lmd64, , Def Disko, QuestionmatQ, Leoesco, Deborah K, Warren, Daly, KDM, Jay Riordan, Shane Robinson, Ikeaboy, Asciinoid, Willie Baxter and H3lx.
2009 sees SeedyR in its 5th year. To celebrate this, they’ve released a retrospective CD compilation featuring various tracks and remixes, both new and old. They will also soon make their entire back catalogue available online completely free, in 128kbps mp3 format, including embedded artwork and extra track info, as well as launching the SeedyR iPhone app, providing up-to-date info on the label as well as additional digital content including streaming digital media, direct to iPhones.

Stereotonic
Stereotonic Recordings, sister label of Scribble Records, launched in February 09. Our aim, much like with Stereotonic the collective itself, is to promote and release good quality House music in all its forms and guises. The first release dropped in February 09 from Stereotonic resident Simon Resoul with the Simon Says EP featuring the tracks, ‘A Safe Place’, ‘Night Pack’, ‘Easy Company’ & his collaboration with Scribble Records’ Kormac, ‘Entre’. Forthcoming releases in 09 and early 2010 from TR-One, Spilly Walker and Simon Resoul. Stereotonic releases are available for download on all good digital stores and also from bodytonicmusic.com

Amazing music from Toronto's finest producer and a truly under-rated hero of dance music IMO.  Recently I have been loving Corrugated Tunnel aka Edwin James' work and his remix really shows why. That shaking hi-hat effect is awesome just on it's own! Perfect Detroit influenced percussion and strings with a loving attention to the song and vocal. One of the best remixes I have heard this year for sure.Classic release, will receive my humble support with honor. Music like this will save dance music. Believe that”
