Anyways, news,

Lisa and I found a wee flat to live in (YAY!) It's the same street that I'm in the now but further down nearer the Kinning park end of Clifford street. It's quite small but it's lovely and a helluva lot better that that piece of shit we saw a few weeks ago, again on the same street but closer to the old flat. It was one of those closes with 3 flats on a floor instead of two and the place was a horrible 'L' shape with manky brown carpets and a musky smell and the whole pace was just grotty, plus the guy showing us the place looked like a rapist. Don't get me wrong it would probably be nice if it was bought and done up but no. they were asking for £395 a month and the move in cost was a month AND A HALF's rent for a deposit PLUS the first months rent PLUS agency fees. Right I'ma  spastic when it comes to flats but luckily Lisa hated it from the go and I'm glad she did cos I can see now what it was. This new place is down the road a bit, top floor but it's done up nice. There's not much hall space and the kitchen is toaty but there'splenty of wee cupboards and it just looks nice, plus the landlady is a lovely Irish women and she seems like she would really look after you if there was a problem with the place. Lisa couldn't make it to the viewing unfortunatly so I had to go on my own and make a choice for the both of us and I did and I hope it's the right one but I keep thinking to myself, We're not gonna find another flat that's in that location, is that nice and for that price (£390) so I went for it and we move in sometime between the 15th and 21st December. Still to sign the papers mind you but it's pretty much ours. Lucky as well cos I just found out that the landlord of the Flat with Kenny and Quzzy is selling his own house, kicking them out and moving into the flat. Grim times indeed!

What else? Well me and Lisa went to the Syth gig last night and it was a great laugh seeing all the boys but a rather strange turn of events happened.......

............I joined Co-Exist!!!!!!!!!

Haha, Charlie was there and he called me over and asked if I was interested in giving it a bash. I was initially dubious cos I haven't played my guitar in ages and Burning Earth is still my thing and I want to get it going again but I thought "Fuck it, it's a great band with good pals and it'd be great practice and a nice contrast to Burning Earth!" Plus Al-K is in the band as well and he's in hunners of bands including Syth and Maiden Scotland so If He can do it then I thought why can't I? So aye, really really looking forward to jamming with the boys, I just hope I can learn the stuff ok cos I know the sort of standards they are looking for and I don't wanna let them down!

So aye that's the final bit of news I'll probably be posting here unless they bring back the option to change the myspace layout back to "Classic View" so if untill then.....

The Komatoze album is done now, bar one or two tiny tweaks so I'm all happy and can't wait to get started on the next one! 

Bene in a superhero mood recently, particularly Spider-Man (An odd choice of hero for me I know but hey, I love the guy!) Probably the best hero bar the X-Men that Marvel has put out! Watched all the films and had a great time.......well that is bar the third film which I gave a second chance to but was disappointed again! I dunno, the film was a decent length but It seemed that the bad guys got next to no screen time and it was just Mary jane being the usual boot and pissing peter off! personally I think he should just punch her ginger fanny in and get her telt the wee slag, I mean goin out wi his best pal then JJJ's son when she knew how he felt? Nut, whack, deid, panners hoor! Anyway, that's beside the point. I didn't really feel any kind of connection with Sandman, and Venom didn't appear until a good halfway through the film. yes I know Venom was after Sam Rami's time but I'm not sure if it was him or.......I think the writer of this film was different to the last two and that may have been it! When i first saw it I thought "hmmm too many baddies!" but there was plenty of time to develop Sandman and venom much better but unfortunatly it was just snippits of them squeezed into this lame love story. And what is this insistance of having current trends in the films? It was Macy grey in the first one (Where is she now?) and now it's Peter turning Emo? I mean I like the evil aspect but come on, give the hair a rest! Spider-Man 2 had none of this (i dont think!) and that was a fantastic sequel, truly one of the best but three is a heap of raw dung with a few roses growing out of it!

Started watching the old 70's Spider-Man films on Youtube hehe, what great fun! Sure Peter Parker is about 30 and it's obviously Los angeles instead of New York and none of the bad guys appear but they're still great fun to watch and did a good job until the Rami films came a long!

Bleh not feeling too good now, I've more to rant but I need a snooze so I'm gonna pack it in for now so Quest!

What else has been happening? Well not much! My main focus has been getting this flat stuff sorted! I'll need close to £800 for rent & deposit for this place and I still have £200 in arreers to pay off to the old landlord PLUS a £150 electricity bill, which I'm going to speak to the folk in the flat about, cos that is down to folk partying at our flat and a bouncy castle being run off our electricity supply. I never go to any parties so I don't see why I should pay that amount for other folks fun and they not even having the decency to chip in cos it's expensive!

Well the studio job is a no goer I'm afraid! It's just all way too High brow for me. The guy who runs the place has 20 years experience in the field and has worked with grammy award wining artists and that's the kind of place it is. No rehearsal rooms, no crap just a studio designed for signed artists to record their albums. There were some pretty big name on the list for the future and I honestly think I'd need a bit more experience before taekling something so big, so I don't wanna waste the guys time plus he avoids metal bands, which is kinna my speciality so the one thing I could be really good at he doesn't do.

It's a shame cos he's a really nice down to earth guy and he did basically offer me the job. I was meant to be going in on Saturday to start to record a band that was booked in but I think he would be much better off with an Engineer who has at least worked in a big studio before, even as a tea boy.

It's not that I'm not confident about what I can do, it's just I think it needs that x factor touch which I'm not sure I have yet and it's not the kinna place to find out these things when so much money and the guys reputation is on the line.

It's a shame but it's got me fired up to do something by myself, cos the studio was nothing more than a loft with velvet stapled to the wooden walls! My living room was bigger than the whole thing, so it's not impossible to do.

Anyway onward to better things, I wanna record metal bands and other things I like and enjoy so that's what I'm gonna do.

What else? Had a lovely birthday weekend. Lisa stayed with me till Monday and it was great having her there. It'll be so good once we can afford our own wee place but I think that'll be a wee bit in the future, but not too far!

I'm dabbling with electronic and dance stuff the now. Want to branch out a bit in to that field, and a bit of pop as well and it's surprisingly easy with all the synth plg ins that come with Cubase, but an understanding of how it all works with manipulating sine waves is a completely different kettle of fish than just plomking a preset over a few simple melodies and chords! Great fun though!

Well that's it, off to watch loadsa cheesy 50's sci-fi! YAY!

GAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! I've just realised that the assembly screws for my big Ikea bed which is in the Arc were in my safe that got nicked by the damn burglers! Fuck, I hope to god Ikea do replacements screws and assembly parts or I'm fucked. And the we cunt took my big Kashmere trenchcoat as well that I've had since I was 15 the fuck! Hope he burns in hell!

Anyway I'm aff to get some chow and some fruit!

Anyway, feeling much much better today! My sore throat has gone and I'm feeling altogether chirpier. I really miss Lisa though, it's weird seeing something and not instantly grabbing the phone to text her about it, but she made her choice so best get on with things.

Taken the whole week off everything! Working, excercising the lot and just trying to relax a bit and it seems to be working. The police came round today and they said they caught the robber who burgled the flat which is great news, but they also said that it's unlikely we'll get out stuff back so it's basically square one again with a bit of juctice thrown in!

Downloaded a few films to watch so that should keep me occupied until next week then I can get back into things again!

Well it's just over a week until my birthday and I've decided to stay away from the booze for a month or two after it! It'll save me money and it's something I've been wanting to try for a while just to see what the training will do to me without all the extra crap in my body!

Need to see about getting my PS3 fixed cos I've reset it to the factory settings and formatted the hard drive but it still isn't reading any kind of discs so it must be mechanical.

Think I'll hit the pub and Classic grand this friday and see who's kicking about. I'll be buggerd in Im stayin in the hoose, even tho I'm skint it'll be better than being bored! It'll be kinna weird going out as a single guy again as well, but gotta get used to that again I suppose!

Can't do any training either, this was meant to be week 12 as well, the big milestone but I'm feeling too run down and not in the mood so gonna have a week off and just concenrate on getting stuff done.

Bugger staying in the hoose though so gonna nip to the pub and see who's aboot just to get out for a bit. Not been oot on a Monday for AGES so it's gonna feel weird!

Emails! Why the hell were they invented? I'm taking about specifically those organisations who have email addresses.......but in reality they only pay attention if you phone them! I mean what the hell? For someone like me who has quite a bit of telephobia (fear of phones for all you spastics!) then emails and texts are a godsent, but some companies seem only to have them to APPEAR to be in the 21st century. So many times have I waited for an email reply only no get nothing. Oh and don't even get me started on some peoplespolicy of "If you don't hear from us within 2 weeks, we are not interested!" which I think is an appalling lack of manners. A courtesy email reply takes less time than a courtesy phone call so I don't get it. Is it something to do with a test of character? Do you have the baws to call or wil you cop out and email? It just seems a very "stuck in your ways kind of thing" I think email address providers should (and maybe some do this already) do the myspace thing and let you know that your email has been opened and read! That way you won't spend ages thinking "Have they read it?" or "Did it send properly?" If they have read it and don't reply within 2 days then you can assume it's a fudd the try other things and is better than biting your nails for a week and not knowing.

Anyway, rant over!

So what's been happenin? Well big changes afoot but less on that right now. Need to have some plans solidified first! Still training hard (that's 2 months solid now!) still with Lisa and extremely happy and still got loadsa plans!

Me and Lisa are braw, spent a lovely night in with her last night. Had a great laugh, had too much wine and had a lovely cosy sleep! Brawness!

Not much else to say! Stuck on the final puzzle of Last Ninja 2 and......errrm that's it!
