What an interesting fall we have been having in the world of Avalon.
We wrapped a tour with our great friends, Selah, and toured our
Christmas Album, Joy. We've laughed and cried together and walked hand in hand through the celebration of new life and the uncertainty of sickness. In all these situations God has proven faithful.

I love how the book of Isaiah says: When you're in over your head,
I'll be there with you. When you're in rough waters, you will not go
down. When you're between a rock and a hard place, it won't be a dead end - Because I am God, your personal God...

We've also had the joy of celebrating our 22nd number one single, Arise! Arise is from our newest project, Reborn.

So now what? Well, it's Christmas season: it's time to put up the trees, mix up some spiced tea and celebrate each other and the birth of our Lord. This Christmas, Ariah is so excited. She has miny dance recital on Thursday and Shalom is crawling and has a tooth. Where is time going? I also hope Santa brings everything the girls want :)

We (The Richardsons) would like to thank everyone for spending another year supporting us (Avalon) and our music. It is an honor to get to know many of you and celebrate on this journey together. Thank you for purchasing Reborn and remember it is a great stocking stuffer.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Hi friends,

Enjoying a dreary Nashville day. However, I have so much to be thankful for. How about you? No matter how life is going, there is always something to give thanks for.

Hope you had a great turkey day. We spent time in GA with my family. I ate and ate and ate..... Speaking of eating, I'm now 29 weeks pregnant. This baby loves gymnastics, especially when I'm trying to sleep. We are thrilled about this child coming into our home.

As many of you know by now, Greg's dad, Curt Long, has been diagnosed with lung cancer. These are challenging days for us all. But, I was reminded in church this past Sunday that God is always working out His plan. Be encouraged today and rest in the peace of His truth.

Bus rolls tonight to begin our Christmas shows. Hope to see you soon.

Hey friends!
We just wrapped our fall tour with Selah. It was so awesome! They are such amazing people and I miss them already! Thanks to all who came out to the shows!

Our family is enjoying being back in Florida. The day we returned, we put our Christmas tree up and hung decorations (let me remind you that it is 85 degrees)... Is that too early? We are trying to catch our breath and unwind from all of the traveling. Shalom just got her first tooth and Ariah is getting excited for Thanksgiving!

I am so thankful this Holiday season! Thankful for my family, friends, health, peace, and the 80 degree Florida weather! God has blessed me so much!

I am looking forward to singing the Avalon Christmas music! Hope to see some of you during December!

Happy Turkey Day!  AMY

15 hour bus ride from MI to FL...yes, you heard me.  Our show last night was in Michigan and the Florida show is tonight. We made it and are here safely thanks to Uncle Dale (our bus driver)!

Last night was our final night of our tour with Selah and we are sad it's over.
We had such a great time with them and appreciate their voices and gifts but also love them dearly.

See you at one of the AVALON CHRISTMAS shows in Dec?  Hope so!

What a great time we are having on the road. In case you don't know... Avalon is in tour this fall with another vocal group, Selah. We are so excited! They are so talented and fun to be around. Check out our tour dates (www.avalonlive.com) to see when we are coming near you. Trust me this is a tour that you don't want to miss. (don't tell anyone but I am hoping that this tour gets extended and possible even booked for a west coast and Canada run. we can all hope and pray together, right?)

Another exciting aspect in the world of Avalon is our new project, Reborn. Every night we are hearing stories of how this music is challenging you and helping you through certain events in your lives. That is our prayer that these songs will remind you of the hope we have in Christ. If you dont have the album you should get it and if you have the album thanks for your support and remember, Reborn, makes a great gift.

On a personal note our oldest daughter Ariah turns three this next week. Happy Birthday baby... To anyone else celebrating a birthday this month, happy birthday to you as well

Keep listening for our latest radio single, Arise. You all rock!

So we are in the middle of the longest run of tour and Janna and I are missing our girls like crazy.
The tour is going well and Avalon is having a great time doing the REBORN songs for the audiences. We believe that the message of the songs is perfect for what so many are going through in their lives. We feel this way because they are blessing us as well.
Hope to see you out here soon.

FALL has arrived in Nashville!!!! I am a happy girl today.  This is my favorite time of year.  Pumpkin lattes, candy corn,  and cute boots are just a few of the things I'm enjoying right now. Hope it's cooling off where you live as well.

We just returned from our first weekend of the fall tour with Selah. What a treat it has been to share the stage.  I always knew they were talented but now appreciate them for their warm and kind personalities too. We have laughed, shared road stories, and just had fun.  Hopefully, many of you will be able to catch a show along the way.  Make sure you check our itinerary.

As of  today, I am half way through my pregnancy.  Baby Long is now moving, kicking, and causing much heartburn :( I'm so thankful for Zantac right now.  Overall, I'm feeling well and thankful God has
given us another blessing.  Our girls are getting very excited about this new sibling and anxious to meet him/her.  I keep telling them it won't be too long after Christmas comes....

Thanks to all of you who have heard REBORN and commented on how much you like it.  We are also thankful for some terrific reviews.  I am thrilled with this new project and blessed to see how it's already blessing others.  Please know we don't take lightly the ministry God has called us to and feel so honored to still have this incredible platform.  We truly know He is the only one worthy of any glory, praise, and accolades.

Well, it's time for my siesta.  Happy fall!

Hello friends! It's an exciting time in my life for many reasons! First, my favorite season is just around the corner... I love fall! The leaves change, weather is a bit cooler (just a bit for us Florida folks), and I can wear my boots!!! I absolutely love this time of year! Second, pumpkin spice latte is back at Starbucks! This is my favorite treat! If you have not tried it, I highly recommend it! :) Third, Ariah turns 3 years old in October! (Shalom is 6 months). My girls are growing so fast and we are enjoying every moment of their lives!

Last, but most certainly not least, REBORN is RELEASED! I can't express how excited I am to share this project with the world! The message is amazing and I hope that people will be touched and lives will be changed! It is a new season!

Remember our tour with Selah kicks on in Mobile, AL, on September 26! Visit our new website at www.avalonlive.com for tour dates. Hope to see you all on road!

Love and God Bless! Happy Fall!!! :)

Hello friends...Hope all is well with you. So many exciting things have been happening. We just back from Canada and are in Houston, TX this weekend at Fellowship of the Woodlands. We are all gearing up for
September 15. This is the day our new project, REBORN, is released. I have been praying and believing God for salvation, healing, and restoration to take place through the music on this album. There are
so many prolific stanzas throughout this project... I am challenged and changed through these songs.

On a personal note, our oldest daughter, Ariah, is officially a ballerina. She is taking gymnastics and ballet every week. She constantly goes around the house singing: "open, shut Them..." those of you who are dancers know what I am talking about. Shalom is five months old and is eating all kinds of fruits and vegetables. She is too cute. Amy, the girls and I went to the Magic Kingdom the other day. They were in awe of all the grandeur of Disney. Even though it's in our back yard, I love to see it through a child's eyes.

Please keep us in your prayers. September 25 starts our tour with Selah.
Remember: Ephesians 3:20-21 (The Message)

20-21 God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and
gently within us.

Hope to see you all on the road soon...
