"Croire en l'homme" (English translation - "To Believe in the Man") is the name of a song written by Kevin Roentgen, Oliver Lieber and Pierre Yves Lebert. The song was recorded by French singing legend Johnny Hallyday and just released as the b-side to "Ca n'finira jamais", the first single and title track from his latest album. The cd single has debuted at number 1 on the French Single Charts for the week of November 14, 2008!!!

Paul Kay (Radio Maldwyn - The Magic 756, Mid-Wales, UK) -

Those who know me and my album music show at Radio Maldwyn 756 in Mid-Wales know I play lots of music from Kevin Roentgen in my show, either from his band Orson, or his solo project "Praying Hands"......... I've been playing songs from the first acoustic Praying Hands CD on the show for the last couple of years or so, and have eagerly been awaiting the release of the second Praying Hands CD "Dogs and Aeroplanes" to play on Radio Maldwyn. And as ever, the multi-talented Kevin Roentgen has not disappointed - with Kevin playing most of the instruments and singing almost all of the vocals on this fabulous CD. Kevin started recording the Dogs & Aeroplanes CD at Townhouse Studios in London UK during 2007 alongside also recording Orson's 2nd album Culture Vultures and finished the CD at his own studio in LA adding Drums, Cello and other vocals. The result is another superb album of songs written with passion from the heart with great lyrics and music. Again, its more than a pleasure to support Kevin's music with radio airplay on The Magic 756 - he's very talented and clever and deservedly so......... My favourite songs, its so difficult to choose - Diamond, Saving Grace, Dogs and Aeroplanes, This Is Home??? If I could give this CD 10 stars I would!!! I look forward very much to the 3rd Praying Hands CD album!!! Cheers, PAUL KAY (Radio Maldwyn - The Magic 756, Mid-Wales, UK) Stars out of 5??? ********** (10)!!!

PRAYING HANDS "BACK TO BLACK" - by Tom Maguire

Kevin Roentgen, the driving force behind Praying Hands, is a true rock & roll survivor. The Southern California native first entered the spotlight with underground Hollywood rock sensations SOUL, who were signed to EastWest/Elektra; alas, corporate skullduggery at the highest levels resulted in their debut album not seeing a release. Undaunted, Roentgen went on to form American Pearl, which released a self-titled album through Wind-up Records, toured extensively and had a song featured on the best-selling "Scream 3" OST. After that group had run its course, he signed on with fellow SoCal natives Orson and ended up spending almost two years in England, where the group enjoyed huge success with the Mercury UK album Bright Idea and the single "No Tomorrow," both of which hit No.1 on the UK charts. Now, however, Roentgen has returned to Los Angeles and the project that was interrupted by his time in Orson: Praying Hands, a venture which highlights his soulful, passionate voice and understated, yet eloquent, acoustic playing. Inspired by his time in London, Roentgen has now turned out this exquisite acoustic interpretation of troubled diva Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black."
