There's a whole batch of fresh new music for you! We just got our EP mastered, and we couldn't be more excited to share some of its songs with you. We're finishing the artwork for the CD, and we should have it pressed and ready for you to take home and cuddle with soon.
Meantime, turn your speakers to 11 and enjoy...

Monday nights mean something new and special to us all now. We get to play our favorite music for whoever wants to hear it at the pool tableicious Sin-e Bar (not the club- the bar on the corner of Stanton & Attorney). Starting at 10, Shane P Condino and Caleb Orion will be playing groovy tunes with special guests jumping in at any given time. Not only is it awesome, but...
You are invited!
We have so much fun we just couldn't keep it to ourselves any more. And we love seeing you... yes, you.

Hello MySpacetronauts,
I would like to mention to you all that we are expanding our presence to our own little .com planet. I See Love is now up and operational. Feel free to peruse our other pursuits, and enjoy a more functional blog. It might just bring a tear of joy to your eye.
We also have been offered the turntables of Sin-e Bar (corner of Stanton and Attorney)every Monday night starting at oh, say, 8pm to play a sweeping selection of tittilating tunes just for you. It's going to be some good old fashioned family fun with all kinds of beautiful, special guests, just cause we think everyone deserves a little aural pleasure on Monday nights.
And while we're talking about music... Nozomi Phoenix will be back in full swing on Thursday night, the 16th of February at the brand-spankin' new and goddamn awesome joint Fontanas. Take a look at their myspace page if you're feeling feisty. More details soon... Also, the mastering of our EP has been delayed again, but it will be done the first week of February (promise!!) and posted immediately. We're all quivering with anticipation.
We love you and we just can't stop,

Alright friends, ladies, gentlemen, and all the rest, get ready. Nozomi Phoenix is coming back bigger better and more beautiful. We've added the unreal saxophone skills of Marcus Degrazia to the mix, and have acquired the technology to really and truly blow and a mind or two...
Which is all to say we're very excited to announce our next show at Sin-e on October 9th! We'll be on at 11pm, so stay up late, call in sick, and enjoy some sweeping soundscapes, and alternate universes of music.
And be on the lookout for our first ever merch table, to be loaded with awesome t-shirts and patches for your fashion betterment. We've got some great designs in the works, and now, at last, you can dress yourself in the finest Nozomi Phoenix style.
We're also about to get an EP recorded... just finalizing a space. Get ready to take some songs home with you, just in time for the holidays. Stay tuned.
See you all in October!
We love you,
Nozomi Phoenix

the finest works of art are incomplete as they stand: the observer must finish them. in this respect, the observer becomes a co-conspirator in the creative act, which lends a resonant power and intimacy to the piece that no completed work could ever acheive. the same work observed/heard/read in different places takes on different meanings; the same work observed/heard/read by individuals of differing ethnicities takes on different meanings. art created in this manner becomes a social construct. art made in this way is inherently political.
music is unique in that it is ephemeral -- you can't hold your aural gaze upon a note in a song for as long as you like as if it were a brush stroke in a painting; when it's gone, it's gone. the very act of listening to music is a lesson in Non-Attachment. the ipod as a Buddhist classroom.
WE ALL SIT HERE AND STARE THERE, ROCKING OUT TO NON-ATTACHMENT, WITH OUR WHISKY AND WITH OUR CIGARETTES.
Whisky Buddha.
