Okay people, for those that don't know, my best friend Tom "Flavasum" Easton, was murdered on friday 15th September, in the studio where he worked as an engineer and youth worker. The knife-attack was un-provoked and needless, taking one of the few good guys left on the earth from us.

I helped carry his coffin at the funeral on monday and I never want anyone to have to go through such a task - burying their best friend - for such an unnecessary reason.

I am one of the trustee's of the 'Tom Easton Flavasum Trust' and we are currently raising money to help fund initiatives that help young people better themselves through music and the arts, and to make people realise the dangers and immediacy of violent crime in the UK. Tom worked with hundreds of young people as part of Islington Council's EC1 Music Project and took immense pleasure in helping them grow and evolve through their music.

If anyone would like to make a contribution to the trust, big or small, cheques can be made out to: 'The Tom Easton Flavasum Trust'

and sent to the below address:

We have decided to keep Tom's myspace page up as a memorial to him, and to help push the message of the trust:

Please drop in a friend request so that we can keep people updated on the trust's progress and if you would like to help please post this as a bulletin to help spread the word

Peace & Blessings

Today we remember all those who lost their lives in the suicide attacks on London, this very day in 2005.

London is my home and wherever I am in the world London will always be home. I was born here and have lived here all my life. I love London and I love it even more since the tragic events this time last year. I love that I went to school, college and university with people from all over the world. I love that I can hear 5 different languages on my bus ride home. I love that I can go an eat in a Turkish restraunt, buy my groceries from an asian-owned shop and learn to salsa dance in a bar and that I can do all that on my high st!!

I love that we don't care about other people's beliefs, because we have our own. I love that I can see White kids, Black kids, Asian kids and Oriental kids all listening to the same tune and each one loving it as much as the others.

I love London 'cause it's where I'm from and it's what I'm about, diversity, change, evolution, growth, learning, appreciation, acceptance.

Today we remember those that passed on 07/07/2005 and tomorrow we look forward to OUR future.

Peace & Blessings
Octave!
