So Christmas came and went. I hooked up with Santa (not that sort of HOOKED UP, I like women, remember?) and he said if I kept it real he’d give me more than a lump of coal next year. I told him if I get a lump of coal for Christmas I’d crush that shit into a diamond plaque with my bare hands, then he was all “You couldn’t do that” and I was like “Dude, you don’t know how I roll, you think this is a game?”, this back and forth went on for about an hour.

We eventually overcame our differences and had a heart to heart and I told him “Dude, it’s not so cool being a shiny, friendly do-goodie arse rapstar” but you know what, thinking about it, I have a lot of respect for anyone who has the balls to stand above it and do something positive.

So I say to y’all remember; if it’s a beautiful day for cancer don’t feel any shame in sun screen nose squirts. Being alive is 100 times cooler than being dead. You ever see a dead ninja? NO? That’s because ninjas are, by nature, cool and dying is not cool. Ninja’s and dying are therefore mutually exclusive. Real ninja’s don’t die! If you don’t know what mutually exclusive means, you better ask somebody, and if they don’t know you better get some smarter friends.

What’s doing People? Happy New Year and all that jazz. Things have been going well for me, thanks for asking (I’m assuming you did ask, because you’re not rude, are you? ARE YOU?) The end of 2008 was a crazy experience, running around working with Lyrics Born and putting our latest track together. Guess you’re wondering what I am about, well, as you noted I am Al Bino, I live in Sydney and I am all about music…. And women… but mostly music… women too. Women just as much as music I guess.

I suppose living in Aus you see and hear stories of people affected by skin cancer and to make it worse, in most cases it is totally preventable -  yet it’s still so common in this country. Obviously having the chance to rap about what I care about, and to hang out with women, I have put my all in to working with LB and bringing our work to life in hope that it might even save others.
