Be sure to go visit our friends at www.galleywinter.com - they have just added a brand new BO COX forum!

From Galleywinter: 'We are constantly trying to highlight what we are digging on musically and what we see as the new bands to watch. With that in mind, we've added three new artist forums for bands that have have been knocking around Texas for the past several years and paying their dues. Modern Day Drifters, Bo Cox, and Bobby Duncan all made strides in 2008, but just like 2009, they are only getting started. Learn more about them and conversate about them in their new forums!'

Hello Hello Everybody –

We have lots of big news to share with you as we get this new year started!

We are very happy to announce that Bo Cox has teamed up with Smith Music Group, who will be re-releasing the debut album, ‘Rich Man’s Gold’. (The packaging has changed some – so be sure to keep your eyes open for RMG in its new glory!)

On top of that: Bob Mitchell, of Smith Music Group is our new radio promoter. That’s Right! The first single off of the album is ‘Burning You’ and is already in the hands of all of your favorite radio stations. We are very excited about this opportunity and hope that all of you are too!

There are plenty of ways that you can help us make the single as successful as possible: REQUEST! REQUEST! REQUEST!

Call your local radio station and let them know that you want to hear ‘Burning You’ – go visit our friends at radiofreetexas.org and tossmmusic.com and request the single – we are thankful for every request and every spin. Bo is very proud of this album and this song and is grateful to have the opportunity to share it with all of you!

Bo started his radio tour today that will continue throughout the next two weeks – so keep your ears open and your radio up!

Within the next few weeks we will have a brand new revamped website up and running at www.bocoxmusic.com and great new merchandise available both online and at the shows (thanks to the folks at Sold Out Merch!).

We hope your year is off to a great start - keep an eye out on the calendar – we are staying busy and hope to see you out when we come through your neck of the woods!

And As Always...BIG Thanks to Each and Everyone of You For Giving Us the Opportunity To Do What We Love.

Hello Hello Everyone - Hope everyone has enjoyed their Summer - !!

I can hardly believe it is almost August.

We have some great things in the works - and should have some big announcements for y'all within the next month or so.

Until then - here is what we have going on right now...

BAND CHANGES.

You may have seen a few new faces if you've made it out to a live show lately.

Although we are sad to see them go - Mike D and Kris Pierce have had to take leave from the band in order to devote more time to their full-time careers and personal lives. We wish them both the best! We are currently auditioning bass players and drummers - making sure to find the right fit for the band. But not to worry - we are still touring - check out the most up to date calendar at: www.myspace.com/bocoxmuisc

RFT ARTIST OF THE MONTH

Bo Cox was the Featured Artist of the Month on Radio Free Texas in July - each and every All Access Subscriber will receive a copy of the debut album, 'Rich Man's Gold'. We can't thank our friends at Radio Free Texas enough for all they do to support the music. If you aren't a part of RFT yet - go sign up today - it's free!

REALLY LISTEN TEXAS - ReallyListenTexas.org

"The Message Is Loud & Clear - DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE"

We are very proud to be teamed up with Really Listen Texas, a grass roots effort put together by Shawn Camfield, geared at reminding and encouraging music fans throughout the state to make smart decisions concerning responsible drinking at a time when they 'really need to listen'. PLEASE take the time to give RLT a 'High Five' at www.reallylistentexas.org

I couldn't think of a better cause to support - and I hope you will all join us in spreading the word!

NEW MERCH!!

That's Right! We are in the works or ordering NEW BO COX MERCHANDISE - so be ready to stock up on the new tee-shirts and stickers at your next live show!

SHOW US YOUR BO COX KOOZIE...

Hopefully by now - everyone has their hands on a Bo Cox koozie. We want to see what kind of adventures you take your koozies on, what distances they have traveled and anything in between.  Beach? Snow? Keeping Another Artists' Beer Cold? Out of State? Shoot, just out of town? Get creative and send us pictures of your Bo Cox Koozie OR you AND your Bo Cox Koozie to brooke@kbtalent.com - look for a new photo album full of your pictures at www.myspace.com/bocoxmusic

WANT TO HELP? CAST YOUR VOTES...!!

We haven't been on the RFT Top 50 Charts recently - PLEASE go to radiofreetexas.org daily and request 'Between The Lines' - we appreciate your support!

Help us win 'Best In Texas' - BAND OF THE WEEK' by emaling: amy@shanemedia.com OR by sending the Best In Texas myspace page a message. Voting begins on MONDAY.

Want to see us in your neck of the woods? PLEASE help us out by going to your local venue's myspace page and leaving them a message or comment letting them know just that!

Well, I guess that is it for now. BIG Thanks again for ALL THAT YOU DO!

Take it easy.
