Yes, we are weird...and we are okay with that.

Every year the Tucson Weekly hosts an event called "The TAMMIES" to recognize the 'who's who" in the Tucson-music scene for that given year.  Kind of like the Grammy's, but waaay more sophisticated.  Half of the nominees are chosen by local music media personnel (Critics Choice), while the others are chosen by the fans (Readers Choice).

This year Mostly Bears has been nominated by the critics for "Best Rock Band" while our little own Brian Lopez has been nominated by the critics for "Best Male vocalist"
