Hey All

Well Western Underground survived Vegas once again, (still not sure about KW...he hadn't made it out last I heard. At least he didn't make it to the airport with the rest of us. Maybe he was winning.....not!!) 4 days of kickin' it up at ILTB in Harrah's. Every night rocked, and we had a chance to see a lot of friends and fans that we haven't seen in awhile. Pops celebrated his birthday Sunday the 7th, (and Saturday the 6th lol), and maybe he missed a few notes during the show, but what the hey....he was turning 40.............again, and again, and again.

I believe Will came out on top in the gambling competition, and as far as I know the only one to win anything. Just works that way for him....I don't recall ever hearing of him losing....some are gifted I guess.

A big thanks to our buddies Flynnville Train, who hung out a couple nights, and sat in with us. Those guys are awesome, and please check out their show if you get a chance. You can also hit their Myspace page if you haven't seen them before. Great music and great guys.

Thanks to all that made the trip, and for those who couldn't, we hope that Western Undergound can find the way to your area in 2009. Until then have a great holiday season, and keep tuning in.

Hey all

Just got back from Key Largo, and hangin', (ok doing some work), with our friends Flynnville Train, (check them out at www. myspace.com/flynnvilletrain ) if you haven't heard them.
Boy that was like stretching summer out a little. It was a blast, and I'm ready to go back with Western Underground to find some beach time. Rodeo Rock and Roll on the beach.... why not.!!

We are still getting more stations spinning "Good Ol' Days to Come" so if you happen to call your local station, and they don't have it, just let me know, by sending a msg to our myspace or at www.westernunderground.com and I'll
make sure they get it.

We are just starting to book dates for 2009 so check in frequently, and we'll keep you posted.

Hey All

We had an outstanding time in California and I wanted to thank everyone for coming out. Saw so many people that I hadn't had the chance to talk to in a long time. It really brought back some memories, and gave a new prospective on what could lie ahead. From the rockin' night at Maverick Saloon in Santa Maria, (Happy Birthday Robin, you were a great host), to The infamous Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, (Happy birthday Darcy, glad you spent it with us, and Archie, who turned 90 and kicked it up with the kids), to a more intimate, but still excellent night at the Saddle Rack, (GREAT folks up there).
Every show felt like coming home, and every fan felt like a friend. Can't wait to get back to California.

BTW - We are in the process of building a new website, so feel free to jump over to www.westernunderground.com and sign up to the e-team. Send us pics of the show you saw, and we'll get them on the site.

Alright all of our CA friends. WU is headed out this weekend, and ready to fire up a little rodeo rock and roll. I've talked to a lot of fans and friends that are coming out already, and we'll get a chance to hang out and talk with some of you that we haven't seen in toooo long.

We would really like to get pictures from these show, and not just shots of us but of you all. We are about to put a new website up, and between that and our Myspace, we want to get fan photos happening. We also have some great interview footage of all of the guys, including crew and even the one and only merchman Will LeDoux speaking out, so look for some new video content coming soon.

Ok, incase it may have slipped your mind, or you've been kicked in the head by a buckin horse, and forgot, these are the dates and the clubs we will see you at this weekend.

Friday 10th - Santa Maria at Maverick Saloon
Saturday 11th - Bakersfield at the Crystal Palace
Sunday 12th - Freemont (San Jose) at the Saddlerack

Just wanted to take a minute to honor the birthdate of my hero, and friend Chris LeDoux. WU just booked 4 days in Las Vegas during NFR, and it really brings back some memories of Chris and WU out there every December to tear it up during the superbowl of rodeo. Chris was always an outstanding character to be around, but I always noticed a little extra gleam in his eye when we were around the big rodeos.

We all miss you buddy.

Thought I would take a minute to let everyone know we are sending out "Good Ol' Days to Come", as a single in October, so if you would like to help us, you could start calling your local radio station around the 20th to request the song.
I always felt like this song summed up a good part of what we were trying to accomplish by continuing WU. We had 16 years of great times running down the road with Chris, and w have a load of great memories from those years. Now we hope to create some great memories of the days to come, along with all of our fans and friends.

We'll be headed out to CA in about a week and a half, and I'm really looking forward to that trip. Hope to see a lot of friends we haven't seen in awhile.
I wish we could have made a stop in So-Cal but I'll have to settle for the next run I guess.

We just confirmed 4 days in Vegas during NFR and that's another trip that I expect to be pretty wild. If you haven't made your plans yet, I hope you'll consider coming in the first week of NFR. We will be performing at Harrah's in Toby Keith's "I Love This Bar" on December 4, 5, 6, and 7. Let's crank it up for a big rodeo weekend.
