2009 Afro in Iraq Program!

Let's continue bringing news from home to our brave men and women stationed in Iraq!

We're proud to announce the continuation of our popular Afro in Iraq program for 2009!

In 2008, generous contributions received from our readers, advertisers, and other supporters allowed us to send a bulk shipment of more than 900 current editions of the Baltimore and Washington Afro-American Newspapers directly to our troops each week. The feedback from soldiers and their families has been tremendous!

Our 2009 goal is to send 1500 papers each week. Each $50 contribution funds 4 papers each week for one year.

Let's continue bringing a little bit of home to our friends and family so far away!

Please call our offices at 1-800-AFRO-892 and ask for Edgar Brookins or Sammy Graham or mail donations to:
