so I was relaxing in the office today while my parents came in because my mom wanted new mp3s on her player for the gym, so my dad naturally had to do it for her because let's face it.. she doesn't know computers.. or any form of technology for that matter.

anyway, they get to playing the songs really loud on my dad's system.. like, really loud.. and then my mom starts dancing.. d-a-n-c-i-n-g!!!  I immediately felt uncomfortable.  It doesn't help that the music was some weird, funky beat.  Then my dad started to join in... I couldn't take it, so I had to get up and physically leave the room.. and even then, my mind couldn't shake the thought out.  I went out to the kitchen.. picked up a bottle of sunny d, because I literally couldn't think of anything else to do..

so while I was drinking that, I look down the stairs and see my brother coming up from the second pair of stairs with the new, black, longcoat I bought today on and he was checking himself out in the mirror.  He even did a twirl.. so as if the thing with my parents wasn't weird enough.. I caught my brother modeling my new coat on himself in front of a mirror.  He looked up and saw me.. we didn't know what to say.. so I asked him if he liked it, he said it was a size big on him.. then we went out separate ways.

as much fun as being home has been this past week and a half.. I think it's mighty time to head on back to Salem.  Thankfully, tomorrow is new year's, so I was planning on going back anyway.. I'll probably see you guys tomorrow night.. I'll need an extra couple of drinks to forget about what took place tonight
