Over the past two weeks the 7 Worlds Collide collective have been busy recording new songs at Neil Finn's Roundhead Studios. Reports from Roundhead are that everyone is genuinely excited about the process and with all three studios functioning at once, new collaborations are being borne by the hour! Twenty five songs have been recorded so far (as at midnight January 4th), and with more recording scheduled for the rest of the week, the potential is boundless.

Following last night's successful first show, the band have another two gigs to look forward to tonight and tomorrow. All three shows at The Powerstation have sold out, but for those lucky enough to have tickets:
Doors Open 7.30pm
On Stage 8.30pm
Intermission 9.30pm
2nd Act 10.00pm
Finish 11.30pm

All proceeds from this very special recording will go to support the continuing great work of Oxfam International. Album release details will be released in the near future.

Welcome to the 7 Worlds myspace, I've never ventured forth into the Myspace concept before because I am suspicious of anything that Rupert Murdoch owns but now we have Obama in the Whitehouse the axis has shifted and I should get off my arse.

So here we are in person and watching this small community grow over the next few months. Xmas this year will be very different, some music will be made, in between shimmying down ropes against the cliffs to find deserted beaches, exploring caves and picking up shells, watching the sun go down over the Tasman Sea. We will keep you posted on all fronts. Thank you for coming along with us.

Neil
