NEW ALBUM UPDATE “SHADES OF OUR REFLECTIONS”

There will be no more waiting, and no more speculation about what is next for Ohio’s fastest rising group! The time has finally come for LSD to release their brand new album! The album is titled “Shades of our Reflections” and hits on a more personal side to the Ohio duo.

“This album is deep” says group member Kevin Beebe. “The songs on the new album will turn heads; we have just been going all out and putting our experiences in the music”. And of course Kevin realizes that most of the content on the new album “Shades of our Reflections” will be controversial. “Anytime you put your emotions and experiences into music it is going to be controversial, we are not so much worried about how we are viewed, we are more worried about making music that will really connect with people on a personal level”.

It seems as if LSD has always thrived on producing Christian music with an edge. “All our music is edgy, it is no different this time, we have really come to a new level musically and we are ready to express that to the world”.

When asked how this album compares to past albums Aaron Thompson opened up. “This album is more about the personal life of the group, musically this album is on an entire new level, we have both grown so much in our level of talent, and our friendship is closer than ever, that makes the album even more personal.”

When asked what the main motivation and theme for the album was Kevin hesitated but was honest. “I personally have gone through some really dark times in the past year; the lyrics I wrote to many of the songs came from such a dark place of depression and pain”. Kevin continued to explain, “Shades of our Reflection challenges not only us, but everyone to look into the mirror and examine the person you have become”.

Aaron Thompson had very good insight into the theme of the new album. “Nobody likes to be fake, nobody likes to have their faults exposed for all to see, this album is a tough pill to swallow for me, and it really shows everything about who we are, the good with the bad”.

Shades of our Reflections will be the first album produced by the Ohio group in over two years! The album shows a very dark but real reflection of the spiritual struggles of each group member. The new release will also feature upcoming hip hop artist and rappers. Stevie J has been a big part of the recording process. Kevin stated “make sure you look for Stevie-J and other local Ohio artist to be featured artist on more than two of the songs.” The album will also feature new music videos and behind the scenes footage. The release date is expected very soon, and advertising is already in the beginning stages. The album is designed to connect with the listener in a special way, relating to and connecting with the pain and scars that come with life.

During the interview I could not resist, I wanted to personally ask Aaron a question about the new release. What do you want to say to the fans and people that are thinking of purchasing the new album? “I want to tell everyone that is going to buy the new album; it is unlikely this disk will ever leave your CD player!” “Everyone will relate to this CD one time or another in their life.”

When Kevin was asked about the business/success side of the new album he only had a few things to say. “I don’t really worry about that right now, my focus has been on the music, if we can make the kind of music we have been I know that people will buy the CD, I know these tracks will hit deep, we are pouring our lives out to everyone, I know people will be talking about it, and I know people will want to support us and buy it, that’s how our fans have always been!”

One thing is already for sure, LSD’s new album “Shades of our Reflection” will be sure to capture attention. It seems that LSD has just been in the background for the past two years, but this new album is sure to elevate the group back into the spotlight. NEW YEAR UPDATE!! 2009!!

We would first off like to wish happy New Year to everyone that supports what we do! With the New Year also comes great news for Life Saving Decision! We recently signed a management/booking contract with Oasis Artist Agency! This means that Oasis will be handling all of the booking for Life Saving Decision! Oasis works with some great artist that God is using to spread His Word. Make sure to click the link on our profile and check out Oasis!! Oasis Artist Agency has already been quick to help Life Saving Decision by adding us to the Youth Explosion Tour!! Life Saving Decision has already been added to shows with Pillar, Thousand Foot Crutch, Hawk Nelson, Building 429, After Edmund, and Todd Agnew. Make sure to check out our show list for dates near you! Life Saving Decision plans on doing as many shows as possible so if you or your Church has been looking to put together a performance make sure to contact Oasis to book a date!

We also wanted to remind you of the brand new album that we are currently working on!! Production of the new CD has been slow due to a complete studio remodeling, well the studio is almost complete, and the group will be starting full time on album production in a couple of weeks. The complete theme and vision of the new album has not been fully developed, but the material that we have already is completely insane!! We promise to keep you all updated on the progress of the new Album!!

The most important thing we want to write to you about tonight is Christ. God has been so good to us this year even though we are so not worthy of it. We want to take the time to praise Jesus Christ and God the Father for being faithful to us, for being faithful to raise us up to do music for Him. We know that with 2009 God is taking us into the next level of music and ministry! We realize this brings excitement, but also more responsibility. We are really looking forward to everything that 2009 will bring.

We must once again thank all of you fans and supporters; there have been people that have stood by us this entire time through thick and thin. There were times when Life Saving Decision was in danger of not making it, but the true people stuck with us and helped us, for that we are eternally grateful. We pray that God may continue to bless all of you and your families. And we would also like to ask for your personal input, if you have an idea for Life Saving Decision or the new album feel free to send us a message and tell us about it, I cannot guarantee that we will use it, but we need good ideas and people that are hearing from God to give us feedback and input. Thanks once again everybody for all your help, please continue to pray for us in 2009!! We hope to hear from you soon!
