Hey devil dudes! Thanks for checkin' our most evil blog. It's not something we normally do, but fuck normal. We're bloggin.
This is Amy- "the new chick drummer..." I've been in the band since 2002... But I'm still known as "the new drummer". So anyway, it's Amy but I'm going to continue writing in a collective "we" kind of style. Yeah?!
Anyone noticed that The Demonics haven't come out with any new music in over 6 friggin years?! We've kinda been tryin' to hide that sad fact with a killer "Best Of" record and a bunch of smoke and mirrors and fake blood and shit, but we can hide no longer- we wanna come out with some killer new music before we grace any more stages with our unholy presence.
SO! Here's the deal. No more shows till new music comes out. Yeah we know you love the live shows and we do too, but too bad for now. We know you love the new tunes too, so you can't really have both, not with Russ and his 1-track mind (hey, at least he's got a 16-track recording studio!).
Speaking of recording studios- The Demonics' world-renowned "Super Bee Studios" of Pacifica, California (where Demons on Wheels and Ritual on the Beach were recorded...) was torn down over the past three weeks. Two thirds of The Demonics members have relocated to a remote mountain location in Santa Cruz county- which is freakin' cool other than The Demonics have got to build a new recording studio. We're in the desiging and planning stages of an even more killer recording studio. Once that's done- the new Demonics recordings can commence!!
Anyway, we've got KILLER new songs written and everything, they're just not on tape. So once we've got new shit... we'll let ya know!!!
Also we wanna introduce (again!) our "new" bass player who has been in the band for at least 4 years... Joe! Dark Master is his myspace (check our top 8...) he's friggin rad and he's still "the new guy" even though he's been in the band for several freakin' years. So we're lookin' forward to laying down some sweet tracks with him, he's an awesome guy and a killer bass player.
Are you still confused on who's in the band?! It's okay, we'll lay it out for ya. We've got the head Demon, singer, songwriter, Demonics founder and guitarist Russ Wright... we've got "the new chick since 2002" Amy Cesari beatin' the skins... and "the other new guy" (who's been in the band for several years...) Joe Miller on bass.
Hopefully that clears everything up and gives you an idea of what we're up to for the next year or so: NEW MUSIC!!
Alrighty kids, we're sigining off for now. Maybe we'll check back in when the new studio is up and running. We're not going anywhere though, (other than hell...) so don't forget about us, we just wanted to let ya know where we are right now so you don't have to ask. You already know!

P.S.- Attention people in Germany!! We still wanna come rock for you!!! Hopefully after the new record comes out, we'll be able to get "our lazy asses" over there to Germany and Europe and rock out with ya.
