Hello FTJ and Jam fans

Just to let you all know this myspace will no longer be an Official From The Jams's Myspace and will be changed to an Official Jam fans site and tie in with Rick Bucklers Offical Jan Fans Website (
thejamfan.net) and The Jam Fan's forum (http://com1.runboard.com/bthegift) of which Rick is The Boss with Wattsie and Quiethouse running the place.

Obviously we appreciate that many of you on here became friends as you supported FTJ. We do not wish to mislead anyone, if you chose to delete your friendship we understand, but hopefully most of you became FTJ friends because you are/were originally Jam fans.

Thank you all very much for the love and support you showed to both The Gift and FTJ and hope that you will continue to support FTJ and Rick Buckler in future ventures as you do Paul Weller.

Please be a little patient as redesigning myspace takes a fair bit of time but hopefully should not take too long to reconstruct

Best wishes to you all

Rick and the team

"Both Bruce and Russ are sad that Rick has now left the band but are happy to continue onwards with a new drummer soon to be announced. Please be patient as you will all be the first to know through this forum who it is".

All dates are looking to go ahead as scheduled.

Thank you for your continued support!

Best wishes

Bruce and Russ

"It is with some regret that I can no longer be involved with From The Jam, many thanks to the fans for all their support over the last few years and who have made it possible, it has been a pleasure and an honour".

Current mood:Appreciated

Firstly can we just thank all the bands who applied, we were overwelmed with entries and such high standards. We're just sorry that we could not have you all as support. but there was only 9 places. To make it fair -the competition was judged independantly and staggered how many of you we had already come across.

Here is a list of the 9 bands who were chosen  and congratulations to them and we are looking forward to meeting them at the chosen Venues.

5/12 Norwich

8/12 Sheffield

9/12 Liverpool

10/12 Nottingham

12/12 Newcastle

13/12 Glasgow

16/12 Southampton

18/12 - Bristol

19/12 Margate
