Followers of Quantum science and Dr.Werner Heisenbergs uncertainty principle have taken a great interest in what they describe as, the Stile13 phenomena. Their brand of science, by its very intangibility, makes the things they profess very hard to actually quantify. Indeed scholars from the mainstream sciences enjoy nothing more than to have a laugh at the expense of Dr. Heisenberg’s pupils. Jokes such as “How do you know your dealing with the quantum physics mafia…they make you an offer you cant understand” cause great hilarity in scientist’s canteens the world over.
The quantum assertion that our reality is based upon our own individual perception of the world around us, and that anything can be any place in space and time, makes its theories next to impossible to prove. The discovery of “The Gateway”, as they call it, has given them a solid although elusive subject to study. They see “The Gateway” as their community’s new missing link, the bridge that could one day join up all the sciences.
However mainstream scientists have been reluctant to acknowledge the existence of Stile13. There have been a few exceptions to this rule, and a few have claimed to have not only found Stile13 but have actually passed through it. The ironic thing is that, without exception, these Men and Women showed no interest in proving their claims and all left their places in the world of academia and went on to make radical lifestyle changes. They now fill their days with diverse and colourful activities and random acts of childishness. As one ex professor put it from his new home in The Greek Islands, I used to be a questioner but I’m alright now.
Another new phenomenon associated with The Stile is the amount of new sects, some religious some not so religious, that have sprung up since the start of what has become know as ‘the great Passing through’. Most, if not all of the members of these sects have yet to have their own personal passing through experience, in fact it’s suspected that anyone who had actually passed through The Stile would not be bothered becoming a member of a sect.
Some of these groups can be seen roaming the countryside at weekends looking for anything that remotely resembles a stile. This has caused consternation among some farmers who object to what they describe as ‘Those Stile13 weirdo’s invading our land and chanting their cow frightening songs’.
Other groups frequent sports stadiums and concert venues, often buying many tickets and going in and out of the gates of the venue several times in the hopes that they happen upon the proper or real Stile13. This has had the effect of bolstering many of the lesser-known sports and several musical groups, including one called Stile13, that have gone on to attract a following from among these searchers. Some of the less ethical stadium owners have been rumoured to have added extra gateways to their stadiums with several of them bearing the stile13 logo above them. Their claims that they are only responding to a demand from their customers are currently being investigated.
The amount of sports and music fans among the quantum physics community has also apparently risen substantially. This is not only a good thing for the health and social life of the scientists but also perhaps proves that the gap between religion and science is not that far apart after all and could perhaps be bridged by the eventual discovery of Stile13???
