Current mood:  excited

Well, what was a year away, what was 6 months away, what was 2 weeks away, what was tommorrow, is finally here.

That's right boys and girls, PTI IS TAKING THE SHOW ON THE ROAD!!!

I can't even begin to tell you how excited we all are. It is going to be great to see all of our friends accross the midwest and to make so many new friends on the east coast. Perhaps this exposure is what it will take to get our band name bigger than the Dj names on those east coast flyers (snicker). Anyhow, I just finished packing my bags, finishing up the final PTI documents, and having a fine breakfast of black beans, diced tommato's and corn.

You can expect to see a tour diary up at some point, though it will probably be after the tour. Either way, it will be totally evident at the point that it becomes available.

For our fans out there, we have a really awesome show lined up for you... a New track from our new EP Exhaust, a track we haven't EVER played live before off of Blackout, and a revamped set. Basically, we pulled alot out of the tracks so we could put that much more back in live. You won't be dissapointed. I promise.

What else... oh yes, if you haven't heard, anyone who purchases Exhaust and does a little detective work on the artwork will be privvy to a password and link to access the free online second disc of our EP exhaust. I titled it Exhausted... because I am lame - and besides, it seems to fit. There are a ton of awesome tracks that didn't make it onto the release for one reason or another (Hey! When you have some odd 28 tracks, you have to cut some tracks). In fact, lets take a moment of silence for Phil who really wracked his brain to come out with the perfect tracklist for both the Physical and online releases. That was no easy job at all! So we really hope everyone enjoys Exhaust and Exhausted: We love all of our friends and fans that we wanted to pack the most we could into this EP as a sign of our appreciation.

So with all that said, I hope all of you get out to the shows. Every head counts, every cd sold counts, and everyone who leaves with a smile counts.

Till next we touch base,

Keep it Pure!

Current mood:  creative

After tireless work rounding up a disc's worth of interpretations from our debut album Blackout... I am extremely proud to announce the tracklist for the EXHAUST EP! No boring preset club tracks here, I promise you that. The disc has a great range of tracks, styles yet flows oh so coherently.  We are truly ecstatic for this release, and I think a lot of people will enjoy it.  With no further adu... the tracklist.

1. Condemnation [MindFluxFuneral Abomination]
2. Databass [Assemblage 23 Reconstruction]
3. Zero Hour [Z Prochek Convolution]
4. IDentify [Christ Analogue Putrefaction]
5. Databass [PTI Subversion]
6. Ivory Tower [Interface Invigoration]
7. Exhaust
8. Gone Silicon [Negative Format Molecular Disintegration]
9. Databass [Flesh Field Infection]
10. Condemnation [Torrent Vaccine Contamination]
11. Otherside [Deadliner Debasement]
12. IDentify [Y-Luk-O Degradation]
13. Gone Silicon [Lukotyk Mutation]
14. Condemnation [God Module Damnation]
15. IDentify [iammynewt Treatment]

Also! Keep you eyes peeled on the liner notes, for they hold the magical code to open a magical secret file on the magical interweb which contains a plethora of secret tracks.... entitled  Exhaust Disc 2: Supplementary Mixes.  I'd tell you the tracklist... but then it just wouldn't be a surprise now would it?

We are still awaiting a final release date for our new remix album. However, word on the street indicates an early August release to coincide with the new Stromkern record, Light it Up. WTII plans to promote the two simultaneously and push the upcoming PTI/SK tour.

Which brings us to the next order of business.  PTI will be opening up for half of Stromkern's Light It Up tour in August/September. For up to date info on shows point your browsers to http://www.stromkern.com/live.html which will have all the official information you seek. At this point, we are slated to play the midwest and east coast dates including:

24.08.05 Madison @ Inferno
26.08.05 Dayton @ Fusion
27.08.05 Detroit @ Labyrinth
28.08.05 Pittsburgh @ venue tba
01.09.05 Washington D.C. @ Nation

more details to come!

Also, in the event that you have been burned out on the old PTI tracks... we have updated our myspace profile to play some new shit.  Never before heard new shit from Exhaust no less! So peep that shit and hopefully we will see you on the road soon enough.

keep it pure!

I opened up an iTunes account to buy the new NIN single, The Hand That Feeds. I then searched PTI on a whim to see if WTII finally got us on there... and there we were. If you haven't checked out Blackout.... open up an iTunes account in connection with Paypal. You will get 5 free downloads. werd pHil

We added a long (200mb) video of our performance at the Metro last month with Die Warzau. It was shot and edited by videographer extrordinaire, Michael Capulli, and contains plenty of backstage footage, so it is definately worth checking out. You can find that in the Visuals : Video section of www.ptinc.net Until next time, keep it pure!

On the twenty-second day of December in the year of our Lord 2004, PTI has issued the challenge to metrosexual industrial rockers, Cruciform Injection, a game of Risk 2210. The stakes are high. Not only will the winner be crowned as supreme leader of the world, the loser will have to finally do the long overdue remix for the said winner. The rules are simple. Two teams, four armies. PTI will be represented by Eric Dusik and yours truly while Cruciform Injection will consist of Kassi (what is her last name... or maybe it's one of those one word names like Madonna or Bjork) and Micah 'Sexy boi' Skaritka. A match for the ages... date to be announced soon.

I just thought I would relay this info from our Mad-town colleagues, Stochastic Theory... "Sonic Mainline Records and Stochastic Theory, as a holiday gift to all the fans and supporters of Stochastic Theory's debut release "Soliloquy", is offering the free online EP "Dialogue" as of December 21st, 2004. The EP contains remixes by bands such as Dekoy, backandtotheleft, PTI, and Caustic, as well as a brand new track by Stochastic Theory. It also contains new downloadable artwork created especially for the EP. Visit Stochastic Theory's website at www.stochastictheory.com for full information." ---Chuck Spencer Anyway, a bit about our mix. It is easily the most stripped down mix we have ever done. Much like our mix of Christ Analogue, more emphasis was placed on percussion and noise instead of the layers of melody PTI can inundate a track with. On a sidenote... if you wanted a dance track, Backandtotheleft and Dekoy did some damn fine dance mixes. Check it out... it's fukken free! pHil

I got my copy of Christ Analogue's Bitcrusher Remixes the other day. And while I am compelled to say it rocks becuase of a certain "A Slight Rage [PTI Down Mix]... the disc kicks a whole lot of ass without it. Wade Alin did a great job compiling mixes that would complement their sound. It is odd getting a remix disc not completetly filled with dancefloor mixes so this is a definate breathe of fresh air. The album is now available at Christ Randall's http://shop.positronrecords.com/ complete with a download of a new CA track entitled Piss. Check it. pHil.
