I just uploaded the video below to youtube. It's a song I've been working on over the last few weeks. I realized, when I recorded this, that it has been about two years since I made any new material public, so here it is.
Please keep in mind that this is an extremely rough, low volumed, demo version of this song. Furthermore, it isn't near finished, but this is what I have so far. Criticisms are very welcome. No artist can grow without hearing what he can improve upon. Please e-mail me at cdcooksey(at)gmail.com to sent comments, compliments, and criticisms. I'll very much appreciate it.
So, here is the video. I hope you like it.

The new album has been officially titled, "Assert Your Silence". There are several songs finished, some half finished, and many more to be written. The scope of "Assert Your Silence" plans to be much more large than the first Among A Million album, "The Awakening: Alpha". It's going to have the same sound you love, but it's going to be a much better scale, so to speak. I've been posting several of the lyrics and building blocks of lyrics on the Among A Million mySpace as well as official Among A Million blog from AmongAMillion.com. I'm looking for a good studio to start recording in soon, as well as a producer. Anyone out there know of a good studio engineer and a good producer? The budget on this album is significantly bigger than the last so all suggestions are welcome!

If you can't be the poet, then be the poem So, I guess I'll just pick and strum I'll pretend to be living that poem While dancing to an endless drum
So, I'll cut my wrists to kill this pain, or you can Sing me to sleep, yes, sing to me, love You can lead me up the latter to Somewhere beautiful that's high above
The heavens, the moon, the hell beneath Or even the stars in the sky

I'm working on a new album. In the meantime, eat this:
I'm going to bathe in the water of a thousand tides Breathe the ocean and look inside Whatever I see and where ever I go, Under the stars, we cross right through We dance into eternity - just me and you
I wrote you a letter, but it didn't say much Just something that you could touch Knowing I had given it, that's what it meant This is how I feel, no matter how much time I've spent With another, with myself, alone in the
It stings and it burns, we but manage to get through, because I know that I can always count on you

My wonderful friend, Marc, from L.A. made this image for me. It's an Among A Million poster. He's working on a high-def version of it. When he's finished, I'm going to bring the glossy's to gigs, give them away or sell them. I'll probably autograph them too as I give him out before and after shows. Anyway, here's the amazing poster he diesigned for me. Isn't that great?

...in Texarkana. This show took place on June 9th, 2006. This isn't the last Among A Million show but the last show that I played before I moved to Marshall, TX for college. Two musicians shared the stage with me. Sam Noe of The Snoe Project & Anthony Schrivner. Both The Snoe Project and Scrivnver did wonderfully. I'm not sure either of you will read this, but thank you for sharing the stage with me. I love you both! Here are the pictures! As most of you know, I'm moving to Marshall ,TX to attend college.
Therefore, this will be the last concert I do here. At least, it'll be the last concert I do for a long time. I do plan on returning.
Here's the info:
AMONG A MILLION ANTHONY SCHRIVNER THE SNOE PROJECT
THREESIXTY THEATRE ASHDOWN, AR
It's the relocated and renamed Living Room. I realize that it may be a turn off to come to the show as it's in Ashdown. It's a quick and easy drive. From my house, it's exactly 18.8 miles.
Here are directions:
Get on Stateline Ave (Hwy 71) towards Ashdown, AR
Continue to Ashdown, AR
Turn RIGHT (North-East) onto E Commerce St., and then IMMEDIATELY turn LEFT (North-West) onto Keller St.
The street address is: 360 Keller St., Ashdown, AR 71822
I hope to see everyone there as it's my last show! Even those of of you whom aren't into the music scene should come to say goodbye, I'll be gone tomorrow (The June 10th).
If you have trouble getting there, give Samantha a call and she'll happily guide you in: 903-748-9482
I hope to see all of you there!!

As you know, I'm moving to Marshall, TX on June 10th. I picked June 10th for a reason:
AMONG A MILLION THE SNOE PROJECT ANTHONY SCHRIVNER
THE THREE-SIXTY THEATER ASHDOWN, AR 8:00 PM JUNE 9TH, 2006
This is not only the last show I'm going to play in Texarkana, but because it's such a sudden move - I'm not really having enough time to say goodbye to all of my most loved ones. So if you come then I will be able to say goodbye to you!
I know some of my friends don't care about the music scene, or even my music. That's all fine, but I really want to hug everyone of you before I leave. So, even if you're one of my friends that aren't into the scene, come out just this once to send me off and let me give you my love.
